Do not bring your dog here unless you quite like being robbed and arguing with staff that care more about taking your money than caring for your pet! I scheduled my 70+ 1 year old German shepherd's rabies vaccination and full body exam at VCA old town. The vet did not check his ears, teeth, nor eyes, nor did she even weight him- but charged us the full amount for a full body exam. His paperwork still lists that he is 35 pounds, when he is clearly more in the +60 range. Upon calling VCA back to discuss the discrepancy, staff over the phone (whom were not present during the visit) insisted the full body exam occurred and kept repeating themselves over and over until I had to say that if this isn't resolved amicably I'll have to file a dispute with our credit card company. She was extremely rude and insistent over the phone, and did not listen to what I was saying. During the visit itself, the vet was more concerned about pushing unnecessary vaccines than tending to Pasha's physical. Very sad and disappointing across several levels of this veterinary clinic.

Been going here 6 years. I have a basset hound and they treat him well. The staff is friendly and always answers my questions

While Dr. Lacoste is great, this "hospital" is completely mismanaged. 1) The hospital confirmed that my prescription dog food is ready for pick up, only for me to find out that they gave part of my order to different customers. 2) The hospital confirmed boarding for a few days with me, only for them to call me throughout the stay, informing me that there was a miscommunication between their employees, so I had to find a way to pick up my dogs. 3) Numerous veterinarians and assistants over the last three years - besides Dr. Lacoste - seemed completely inexperienced, to a point, where I would go to exams only to check the box for prescriptions and not to actually check up on the health of my dogs. They did not care about my animals, but all about the money the clinic makes and their paychecks. Their "VCA Network" which is supposed to be a benefit, is a network of independent veterinary clinics that recommend each other, benefiting its own money making machine more than anything else. Did you do a pet exam with another VCA in the last 6 months? Yes, well this clinic will require their own exam again.

I’ve been taking my 2 dogs to VCA for years and I am sad to be moving away from them. Every Vet and tech we have ever worked with has been kind, compassionate, personable and thorough. I highly recommend them.
