Jan 15, 2025 路 Mary ColangeloI brought my kitten here last month, because the other place I have taken him did not resolve the medical issue he was having. This place may be pricey, but these folks are so nice and kind. All of them are. My baby cat is better. They were helpful in every way. I hope this place continues being the way they are and may they continue to prosper.
Apr 21, 2025 路 CeciliaWent to the office today and very disappointed. 2 people walked in and didn't express to us who they were. I had to ask if one of them was the vet. Dr Green saw both our kitties and told us the 6 month old kitten has juvenile gingivitis. When asked what she observed to get the diagnosis, she responded "Well I am a professional." We weren't trying to doubt her but wanted to be educated. When asked about what we can do to manage the diagnosis she responded with no tips or other factors that would cause this juvenile gingervitis. The only thing was to wait until the cat was in pain or not eating to pull all the teeth. After consulting with other vets today we certainly now doubt her competence. Other vets said there can be extensive testing to see if bartonella is a factor or other possibilities besides it being genetics. The other vets said there are various ways to treat the disease with besides waiting for a cat to be in pain and not eat. In addition i mentioned a concerned about feeling hard pebbles around kittens jaw and she didnt ask please show me but instead said that she appreciated the body of the kitten and didnt feel anything. Would of been nice to be asked for me to show her my concerns to evaluate further from what I feel every day. She didn't have our kittens best interest. Will not be going back. Don't trust her judgement.
Apr 27, 2025 路 L FamilyThey have helped me so much with my pup! Marvel has Addisons disease and needs to be seen every 27 days and they've been so great over the years! I truly credit them with saving his life and they have become like family to us. This is by far one of the best places in my opinion that you can take your pet!
Nov 07, 2024 路 christina espositoI have been going to Old Canal in Plainville Ct for a few years now. At first Dr C was amazing with my dog . Slowly that changed , he actually started yelling at me to my face several occasions saying I don't trust you , I want you back in 1 week. Canceled the weekly appointments. And telling my dog I don't trust your mom ! REALLY ! The allergy shot my dog recieved from there worked 5%. I told them she is still scratching. No response. The lady doctor is horrible, she will not answer calls back. When I call , she is in surgery all day, but when I showed up , shockingly no surgury ! Receptionists said she didn't have surgery. I waited 5 days and never got a call back ! Went to emergency anmial hospital . The Receptionists are better now. Dr's Technician ' s are phony except for Eric. I will NEVER GO BACK !!!!! Hopefully I can save other patients from going here. Karen Ouellette New Britain Ct.
