VCA Lecanto Animal Hospital

I was extremely pleased with my experience. I was having an emergency with my dog and they were able to squeeze me in same day even though I not been a client before hand. The receptionist was to calm me down on the phone and immediately started asking questions as to my pups issues. She with the vet and they deemed it important enough to get her in there. I called 5 places them and nobody else gave me a second thought. The vet was very gracious and just really on top of his game. Got blood work done, put on antibiotics and she is on her way to recovery. I'm incredibly grateful to them and will continue to bring my pup and any other future animals to them. That dog means the world to me, this was huge for me. Thank you VCA Lecanto!

It was our first visit to VCA Lecanto Animal Hospital. We moved to Crystal River from Tampa and we needed a new vet for our cat's annual check up and shots. I like that VCA offers boarding as well. The building is nice inside and out. The staff and Dr. Woch were great. Friendly, caring and very attentive, they did the exam of my cat then provided information and recommendations. Overall, very happy with the service provided. I'm glad we selected VCA as our new vet for our old girl. Thank you!

The Vet, he was a male. Can't remember his name for the life of me, but was extremely careful with my parents Great Dane Tucker. Great experience. Very helpful!

Dr. Billy Hendrix is a wonderful doctor. He is kind, patient and knowledgeable. Yes VCA Lecanto is a bit pricey. But I can’t put a cost on my pets, as I always say: owning a pet is a privilege and not a right. The girls at the front are usually nice and do their best to get us an appointment as quickly as possible. They answer any questions I have and work so hard. Working check-in and check-out can be just as stressful in veterinary care as other areas of the clinic. Back to Dr. Hendrix- he is the most intelligent Vet I’ve ever brought my pets to see and he’s the reason we switched over to VCA Lecanto. Some appointments I have a-lot of questions need an array of things handled and Dr. Hendrix really cares! I’m so thankful he’s Joey and Fibi’s Vet. Lastly, I would like to thank Jill who is a Vet Tech. Jill has worked at VCA Lecanto for about two months she said but has been in the field for around 30 years I think she said. Jill is calm, kind and friendly. Thank you to everyone there and especially Jill and Dr. H. I hope Jill gets the recognition she so deserves! -Kyle, Katie, Joey & Fibi

The desk and other staff members are so sweet! Dr. Hendrix was extremely unprofessional and rude when trying to solve a problem during a very stressful time (hurricane and family issue). His body language and way of speaking to his customers is extremely unprofessional. He had no idea about the last time we were there (a week ago) and very condescending when he speaks to you. We decided to remove the records and switch vets.
