We recently brought our pups in for their yearly vaccines and to address a concerning issue with Maxx’s leg. The doctor provided detailed information and, sadly, we had to make a difficult decision. Throughout the process, Dr. Jewell and the staff were incredibly compassionate, guiding us through every step with care and empathy. Dr. Jewell and his assistant showed so much love and kindness to Maxx in his final moments. We’re deeply grateful to VCA and will continue to entrust them with the care of our other dog, Coco.

Our fur baby had an abscess that was very concerning at 12 pm on a Saturday. My regular vet office was already closed for the day, so we decided to give VCA Kingwood a try. There was a 5 min wait, and Dr. Jewell and his staff were amazing. I was a bit worried that we would end up paying an insane amount of money for all the services and meds we received but the total was more than reasonable. Thank you VCA Kingwood.

I think they are a bit overpriced. I lost the prescription. I am on a very tight budget, & vet costs add up quick on top of the over the counter sprays & salmon oil I've been buying to help my shepherd, Nix, who suffers from severe skin allergies. When I had $$ to fill prescription, it was gone. I called VCA to ask for a replacement, he said no, it had been 30 days he would have to be seen again. It doesn't take a PhD to see he is exactly the same as he was, no change. I get they try to bring $$ in. But I feel the antibiotics could have been replaced without said visit. And charging $160 for a 30 day allergy shot is a bit excessive. When profits are the goal, & not healing.

I cannot say enough good things about VCA and their exceptional customer service. Every visit, I truly felt that the entire staff cared and listened. Dr. Burlone cared for our beloved pup, Remo, for the last 7.5 years, and we trusted her expertise without hesitation. Even in moments when I didn’t realize how stressed Remo might be during his visits, the staff always did—ensuring he felt comfortable and cared for. That level of attentiveness spoke volumes to me as a devoted dog mom. Over the years, we entrusted VCA with everything from routine wellness checks to unexpected scares, neutering, dental cleanings, tooth extractions, dog washes, and even anal gland extractions. And when the time came to say goodbye for medical reasons, they provided us with the utmost compassion and care. What truly set them apart was their consistent follow-up. No matter how small the procedure—whether a simple vaccination or a more serious visit—the doctors always called or sent a message to check in. Their transparency, attention to detail, and genuine concern reassured us that we were never just another appointment on their schedule. Even on our most heartbreaking day, when we walked in overwhelmed with grief, we were met with nothing but kindness and understanding. They immediately prioritized Remo’s care, offering comfort and making his final moments as peaceful as possible. The room was prepared with a softly lit candle, treats, and gentle music—creating a serene space for our final hour together. Their partnership with Fond Memories in Conroe, Texas, also gave us meaningful memorial options to honor our sweet boy. We cannot thank the VCA staff, Dr. Rodriguez, and Dr. Burlone enough for the incredible care they provided. Remo lived 7 wonderful years, not just because of the love we gave him, but because of the dedicated and compassionate care he received at VCA. Forever grateful, Vargas Family

Dr. Jewell & the rest of the staff are all amazing! Our diabetic dog Tillie had so much going on and with the help of Kingwood VCA we were able to manage her chronic illnesses very well and extend her life. I've seen dozens of vets and nobody has came close to the care my dog received here. They treat your dogs as if they would their own and genuinely care. Would highly recommend bringing your little family member here. To the VCA Staff, Thank you all for everything you've done for Tillie!
