My dog is very nervous at the vet, but he was calm and confident the entire time, even though he'd never been to this clinic before. That's a good sign. At the end of the day, his comfort level is one of the primary considerations when choosing his vet. Dr. Spoerer seems like a super smart lady -- very professional, very good with my dog. Glad to be a new patient.

Feb 07, 2020 · Michelle TrasterI highly recommend VCA Heritage Animal Hospital for their exceptional care and expertise. Dr. Talley and the entire team of technicians are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to the well-being of animals. When my cat faced a ureteral obstruction, I initially took him to an emergency clinic at U of I around midnight, where unfortunately, they were unable to properly insert a urinary catheter. They advised me to seek help from a local vet. The very next morning, I took my cat to VCA Heritage Animal Hospital. In less than an hour, Dr. Talley and her technicians successfully inserted a urinary catheter. Moreover, they graciously agreed to keep my cat wearing the catheter overnight for further observation. Dr. Talley and her team even conducted a late-night check at 11 pm to ensure that everything was going smoothly. Their level of care and empathy towards my sick cat was truly touching. I can't express my gratitude enough for the peace of mind they've given me and the excellent care they've provided for my cat. I highly recommend VCA Heritage Animal Hospital to anyone in search of a compassionate and highly skilled veterinary team.
Sep 03, 2023 · Y YangI will take my pets here for as long as I live in the area. They were always very attentive and extremely helpful anytime I had to take my pet to the vet. When I had to put my beloved dog down they made the whole process not as horrible, they let us stay for as long as we needed. They are so nice and really seem to care about the animals and the families that come in.
Mar 20, 2023 · Bethany BGreat vets, great staff. I've gone there for more than 10 years and they have always been helpful and compassionate. Years ago my cat had breast cancer, her prognosis wasn't good, but we did at least four surgeries. We loved that cat so much and other than the cancer she was healthy and would bounce back from the surgeries quickly, so we did as many surgeries as we could and we bought her some time. The surgeries weren't cheap, but they got significantly cheaper each time because we were willing to do whatever it took to help her and the vet and staff saw that and reduced the prices of everything. And when she couldn't have any more surgeries Dr. Dust let us know there was nothing else we could do, that we had done everything possible for her in such a compassionate way. He even teared up. These people care deeply about animals and will help your fur babies be as healthy and happy as possible! I can't recommend them enough!
