VCA Forest South Animal Hospital

We have been going to VCA Forest South since 2021 when we adopted our 3 year old GSD from Humane Indiana who was also heart work positive. We have been seeing Dr. Borzouyeh and he has been nothing short of incredible. He has also seen our two senior cats. He makes our pets feel comfortable and safe. He takes his time on gaining their trust and going above and beyond to find a root cause of any issue we present with. We are so very thankful for Dr. B and the staff at VCA!

I have been using this clinic since 2006. The care is outstanding by Dr. Trudeau. The office staff is beyond amazing! Big shout-out to the front office staff! All of them!!! I am so grateful to have such great care, even by the vet techs and pharmacy with Neeka.

Henry(an extremely friendly 12-lb Shihtzu mix) was in for his-annual Heartworm test and shot. I requested to be in the room, rather than having him taken ‘in the back. When the tech and kennel person came in the room, Henry was brusquely picked up, not greeted or reassured in any way by the kennel person, and immediately put into an immobilizing hold. The technician unsuccessfully poked for a vein 5 or 6 times, at which time Henry let out a soft growl to express his displeasure, and the kennel person yelled at him. I expected better treatment from my veterinary care provider. A little kindness would have been nice. If dogs are treated this way in front of their owners, I don’t want to imagine how they’re treated in the back room. I expressed my concerns to the receptionist, and she said she’d have the manager call me to discuss the situation. It’s now been 5 days and no call.

Upon arriving for dog appointment was asked few questions and few minutes later I was called in to see the Dr. Diagnosed my little baby and subscribed medication and a return visit was very happy with the professionalism of the entire staff very clean and will return with my other Pet for his annual check up. Thank you.

Poor communication and follow up by staff. My dog was never seen. I waited an hour in the exam room with the hope someome would come to begin the visit. When i finally went to the desk to ask if we had been forgotten, a nurse came shortly after stating they never received my dog records and thats why they were waiting. I wouldve respected them more if they just took accountability because its no issue to resend vet records if thats truly what they were sitting there waiting for. Who knows how much longer i wouldve been dismissed if I never went back to the front desk. This facility was just built and its disheartening the service is already terrible.
