Dr. Horn & the vet tech did a full body exam they mentioned he had a fever and did bloodwork. He was honest and didn’t waste our time. The tech was very compassionate, kind and understanding. For first time guest the promo was a free exam.

I took my sick kitty to the clinic in Vero Beach. The only thing the tech did was take the kitties weight and nothing else. When discussing the reason why I was there, I thought my kitty had a hairball that he could not pass. I was asked if the kitty was eating and drinking OK I explained he was eating and drinking very little. That was the extent of the H&P. When the young veterinarian was short, dark hair came in she was very arrogant, talk down to me and told me that she was unable to palpate my kitties, stomach and lower intestines. There was no talk of the palpation of kidneys, bladder, or the pancreas. She’s also told me that if I wanted to be safe and sorry really, but I can get x-rays for $350 but that was up to me, when I take a sick animal to a veterinarian or I go to provider as a patient, there is a certain code of ethics and standard care that is to be adhered to. She did prescribe lactone and said to give five ML‘s every day for three days. When I asked about bronchitis or feline asthma, she said no that couldn’t be it, which is funny because she never took her stethoscope off to listen to my kitties heart or his lungs. With this storm here if I wasn’t fortunate enough to take my kitty out to the feline clinic, where he was diagnosed with severe bronchitis, I would either have a dead kitty by the end of the storm or very, very sick kitty. Please, if you take a sick animal to this clinic and you see anybody other than Dr. Horn, please make sure that you get a thorough exam and all your questions answered.

The front office staff is always so friendly, professional, and helpful. They make people and feel at ease to be there and each one special. The veterinarians, whether Dr. Horn, Dr. Nancy, Dr. Nix, Dr. Klein, etc. they are always so professional and thorough. They take the time not only with our pets but also answer questions and follow up with results to tests or bloodwork, even just to check on your pet. The vet techs are friendly and professional, they treat each pet as if they were there own. It is nice to come to a vet's with so much care, professionalism, and compassion. We are grateful they are in our community.

I went in with my dog who was gravely ill( and has since passed) I don’t know the Drs name but he was the most cold inconsiderate and dismissive person I’ve ever had the misfortune to meet My dog had been seen earlier in the day by my regular Vet who could not complete the operation that was started so I had to drive an hour to Vero with one hand on the steering wheel and another on my dying dog in the passenger seat with an IV port in him and hot water bottles on each side of him and then to be met with disgust and disdain “ by this “Vet “??? I left with my sick dog only to be followed out by the office manager who apologized profusely for the Drs behavior and by the Vet tech who was verbally abused by the Dr as well!! I was forced to go to a 3 rd Vet the same day where my dog died after the operation this particular Vet charged me $5000.00 and my dog was dead. I honestly feel my dog would be alive today if the Vet from VCA Vero acted professionally

If you are looking for caring Veterinarian and an amazing staff this is the place! I travel over 2 hours just to take my pets here. They are truly amazing!! And they really care about your pets. I highly recommend them. :)
