I drive from the other side of town to come here with my fur child for a reason. The staff is amazing and my dog loves coming here. Pricing is very reasonable compared to other vets in the area. Dr. Lowry takes her time with every visit and truly breaks things down for me as the owner to understand and ensure I’m always on the same page. They’ve helped with everything from general exams for my dachshund, to laser therapy when his back went out, to a recent dental surgery. They’ve handled everything with such care and professionalism every time. Truly love coming here!

I’ve been using this vet for 5 years and was happy with them until my puppies boarded there last week. They were almost completely potty trained and I don’t know if they don’t let them out or not but as soon as we picked them up at 11:30 they peed in the front office, which they’ve never had accidents like that before, almost like they hadn’t been let out that day, and have had multiple accidents inside since. They also charged over $400 more than was on the estimate.

I can’t say enough good things about VCA Fleming Island. The team here goes above and beyond for both pets and their owners. Every staff member is warm, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable, which puts me at ease every time I bring my pet in. They take the time to thoroughly explain treatments and options, never rushing through appointments, and they genuinely care about the well-being of each animal. Drs. Lowry and Rouse are beyond exceptional and truly go the extra mile in the care of my Moose (Miniature Yorkie) and my Bella (Boxer). All the staff including most notably Grace, Amber and Charlie create a wonderful and calming environment and know how to cope with me and my pet parent anxieties. Recently, when my pet faced a complicated health issue and had to see a specialist, they helped get me an appointment, checked in regularly, offered additional support, and ensured we understood every step. They even followed up afterward to see how my pet was doing. It’s rare to find a veterinary team this dedicated and empathetic. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place that treats pets like family!

I have been taking Daisy to Fleming Island Animal Hospital for over 13 years. I'm willing to drive 45 mins to an hour each trip, as I love the staff, and the vets. Daisy has seen Dr. Lowry for almost every visit. I can't say enough about how knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly amazing she is! As my dog ages, Dr. Lawry has helped me adjust to each stage, and has been so kind. I recommend this office to anyone who loves their pets!
