Yes I definitely agree with most of the bad reviews on here I took my cat into the Vet the other day I lost my parents within a week of each other I was devastated that I was going to lose my cat too they said X-rays and blood tests would be $896 I do not have that kind of money they have no compassion for my situation or my cat. He's probably going to pass away and they could care less and it is all about money to them they could have helped me they could have done x-rays on my cat and at least told me something but all I did was go back in my car with my cat still having the breathing problems and cried my eyes out!!! I don't know how they going to the field they're supposed to be compassionate and they're just soulless I didn't even want to give them one star they should have zero stars and they should be out of business cuz they're not compassionate with animals at all or people State far away from this vet! Just wanted to add to this review my cat poppy is now dead thanks to VCA hospital and their lack of concern or compassion in any way!!! This doesn't end here I will be going after VCA Animal Hospital on Mill Plain because of there lack of compassion for my situation and my cats my cat was dead within 2 days after being sent away from their Hospital please if you have any love for your animals do not take it to this vet

I have an older dog who was losing weight rapidly so I took him in for an exam last February. I wasn't expecting miracles but wanted to rule out anything obvious that might be causing the problem. The vet recommended a full set of tests (bloodwork, etc.) $500. The test didn't reveal anything so the next recommended step was MRI or scan $2000. I declined given the age of my dog (14) and his low body weight. My fear was it would lead to surgery. Its 10 months later and my dog is still alive but increasingly in pain and has leg spasms. I called VCA to see if they would prescribe something to help us without another exam. Nothing has really changed other than his pain level. They said they would not without another physical exam. My dog is at a point where he cant ride in a car and we live about 30 minutes out. Legally the vet can prescribe meds as long as there has been an exam in last 12 months, which we did. This leads me to believe VCA is only in it for the money and the extra exam fee. So much for compassion and caring for people and animals. Go somewhere else.

VCA East Mill Plain has been hit or miss for us with our new kitten. We were able to get her in right away after adopting from the Humane Society; however, it took FOUR days to get a refill for her Profender dewormer as apparently the doctors there can’t approve refills for medications other doctors prescribed. Our cat has had worms coming out of her for days and then when the prescription was ready yesterday, they failed to alert us. I had to call this morning. The doctor also failed to tell us that we may need to treat the cat multiple times to eradicate the tapeworms. She seemed surprised when I told her she was shedding them again. Needless to say, we’ll be moving to another vet clinic we’re familiar with.

My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Natasha Nanda (DVM) for the exceptional care provided to our dog, Basil. As pet owners who are intensely involved in the well-being of our pets, Dr. Nanda’s compassionate professionalism significantly eased our concerns. Her calm and professional response to even our most anxious inquiries demonstrated her expertise in handling common issues with grace. Additionally, I would like to express my gratitude to the entire staff for their kindness, gentleness, and affectionate attention towards my pup. The reassurance and care you all extended during our visit were truly appreciated. Thank you for the outstanding service and support. 🤍

They took good care of Lulu and her companion terra. Great place to go when we're up that way thanks for seeing us.

Told my dog has a mass…The vet lacked empathy for us. Why? Because she was judging from the minute she walked in. Tells us he needs more testing and just walks out. Spending a total of 5 minutes with us. The tech comes in and quotes us $2,800 for what he needed. We left. I will be getting a second opinion. I do not recommend this place unless you are a millionaire.
