Very mixed feelings about this place. It was recommended to me by a close friend to bring my dog Charger for his first vet experience / shots etc. Prior to the visit I had talked to them on the phone about pricing for various things. I asked them if they accepted cash. They told me they do, and they had a monthly payment plan if it was needed. They didn't tell me that any payment plan, or membership (1 year) would only be processed on a credit card. Due to my accounting and finances, I specifically planned on using cash for this, and tried to make sure that was going to be okay. I talked to the assistant about it in more depth during Charger's visit, before he got shots or a chip. So after we agreed on a final plan of what exact shots and things he would do on this visit and followups, (a 1 year membership) he got his shots and his chip. But before we left, I was told that they wouldn't allow me to use cash, I could only use a card. I tried to work with them on that and offered them more on an initial cash payment than they were asking for with the initial credit card payment, and to take my card anyway, but I would come with cash to make the monthly payment instead, and they wouldn't need to run my card unless I didn't make the payment in person. But they refused and said there's nothing they can do about it. So I ended up trapped in the situation that I was trying to avoid from the beginning, by communicating before the appointment, and during the appointment, which is now causing a loss in my finances due to accounting. This is extremely frustrating. But it's something I have to do for my boy, and I'm on a deadline because I'm leaving the US for a month in March and I need to get everything done by that date. Now I'm locked into this payment plan on my credit card, and it doesn't matter if I pay it all now or do the payments, the fact that I was denied a cash payment is the issue. It's also a year membership. So, I have a year long relationship with this office that I had an extremely negative experience with, and a business I don't want to support, after putting me in position where I have to take a loss that is no concern to them. The staff was friendly, the care received by Charger was good. They were very good to him on his visit.

Jan 15, 2025 · Carlos GuerreroMolly is a 9 y.o. mixed Maltese breed adopted from the Animal Foundation. Dr. Smith was very thorough w/ the exam and addressed all my concerns. The staff was super friendly and covered pertinent info. Highly recommend.
Feb 27, 2025 · Dee McKayNot even a star. The asian doctor have been there once for our bunny. Thank god was was daughters bunny so went for a second opinion. I brought my 10 year old pitbull, web says no emergency fees if you come before 6. This is a ploy. They will tell you they are short handed and charge you. So I paid my dog was in pain she would not help . Did a look and leave, not a physical check of my dog. When she said the blood work would be emergency charges. I did not get paid till the following day. I could and paid the 490 or so but would have to come back the next morning. I called the next morning after bloodwork was told trying to get her in. They would not see me till the following day. And my love passed over night. Heartless vet. Sad so many regrets but to late. Horrible!!!’
Jan 15, 2025 · Serene CoteJust saw Dr. Hoyt! First time at this animal hospital for me & Titan (my GSD of 13 weeks old). There are no words to describe how professional & clean this facility is…. They set the bar folks! Period! I wish I had known about them with my GSD Fonz (before he passed) because my experiences valley wide have been very lacking in satisfaction. VCA, however, exceeded my expectations (I’m old school at 57 years so this is saying a lot). Dr Hoyt was very friendly, knowledgeable, NOT IN A HURRY to shuffle us out, really took her time to examine & explain the VCA new client process, and just an overall, experienced and customer friendly individual! I’ll be a customer for life! Staff is also very friendly & knowledgeable; they really invest the time into their clients!!! I highly recommend this facility!!!
Mar 03, 2023 · Weinnand Springer, JrWas referred by a family member and called because my dogs eye got scratched by a cat. Receptionist didn't seem to care at all even tho I said I'm worried about it getting infected and worse. She's told me the soonest I could get in was almost a month 2nd week of May. If this is how you treat emergency I would never take my pets here and will tell my family member to stop using you guys. Provide quality service and actually show you care. 3 weeks out when it can get infected is plain being ignorant.
