Very pleasant visit. Doctor Stacey Whetstone is my favorite. The vet lady assistant today was very professional, but I noticed my 14 years old cat was more comfortable around the doctor, she is very serious just need to be more chill cause it makes pets much more comfortable. I just came for a wellness checkup and blood work to make sure at his old age everything is working well, specialty kidneys, thyroid.

She is very serious but just needs to be more chill because it makes pets much more comfortable. Another customer expressed their gratitude for the compassionate end-of-life care their pet received: "I went and took my kitty to be euthanized. He had already been sick for a couple of years, and a couple of weeks ago he started to deteriorate pretty fast. The staff there was kind and considerate. This is my emotional support animal, Hoover, who passed over the rainbow bridge on August 3rd, 2022. He was 13... He was polydactyl and smart as a whip. I fostered a lot of kittens, and he never really liked them for the first week or two, but as you can see in some of the pictures, he grew to like them. Unfortunately, by the time they really got close, it was time for the kittens to be adopted... I miss him and will always miss him tremendously."

Visit VCA Daytona Animal Hospital today and experience the difference of compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care. Your pets deserve the best, and we are here to provide it.

This place and it's staff actually make me sick to my stomach. Don't ever be fooled, they don't care about you, your pet, or their comfort, they are doing this SOLELY as a job. How do I know that... Well... My dog needed a prescription refilled for a reoccurring illness that she has seasonally had for almost a decade now. A doctor at a different vet even told me he just gives his dog with the same condition medicine when it flares up, and then the dog is fine for many months. In this case, I just recently was laid off, so I was in an utterly desperate situation where I could LITERALLY not afford the exam fee, and JUST BARELY afford the medicine. When I called and fully explained my situation to the HORRIBLE receptionist, she didn't care AT ALL. This woman even LAUGHED AT ME when I asked if it would be possible for me to speak directly to the doctor to explain my desperate situation. HOW CAN YOU LAUGH AT A PERSON WHO IS DESPERATELY TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR ANIMAL???? HOW IS THAT FUNNY? How does someone who CARES about animals even have the ability to LAUGH at someone who is DESPERATELY trying to help their pet of 10+ years? WHAT is funny about that? This isn't some stupid internet Tiktok or instagram reel, this is my precious dogs LIFE AND HEALTH at stake, and you're LITERALLY LAUGHING AT ME like it's funny?!?!?!?!? As angry as that made me, and as cruel as that is, I would NEVER wish such a situation on someone, but to her it's funny... Yeah okay, it's one thing to deny my request to simply hand the phone to the doctor in my dire straits... BUT TO LAUGH AT MY DESPERATION?!?!?! REALLY?!?!? That is sooo wrong and cruel it actually makes me sick to my stomach to even think about. That was actually one of the MOST HEARTLESS experiences, I've LITERALLY ever had anywhere... If you don't want to help me and my dog because I can't pay... Fine, greed is everywhere, what else is new... But to ACTUALLY laugh at a person in a desperate situation with their dogs health... REALLY??? That is actually something that will haunt me in the future, no wonder I left that phone call in tears of anger and desperation. Because if you truly COULDN'T help me, (and the LORD KNOWS she could have handed the phone to the doctor or have the doctor call me back) then the LEAST she could have done is being sympathetic and understanding of my desperation... Not literally LAUGH at my desperate attempts to get help for my dog who's suffering! But again, they don't care about you, your pet, or their comfort. If you aren't gonna pay them the $120+ exam fee which includes nothing but nail clippings, and weighing your pet (IE not a single test, or prescription/medicine) then spare yourself and go to anyone else. Lest you leave feeling worse then before you even talked to them smdh UPDATE; I emailed the support and got literally ZERO response over 3 weeks later... So, great "support", huh, no wonder this sort of behavior would happen at a place like this. It takes them 3 weeks to follow up on an email... Really? Are they waiting this long in hope that my pet just dies, or in hopes that I'll forget what happened? Because this pathetic follow-up response that lead VERY LITERALLY nowhere is even more insulting. Why waste my time telling me to send an email only for them to never follow up... Oh, I guess it looks good for the other people who read this review who think that you and your company actually made any attempt to remedy that horrible experience with anything meaningful... But in actuality ya'll did literally nothing at all... Didn't EVEN respond to the email.

I take my dogs Mocha and Bucky here and they always have a great experience. I call from time to time about questions regarding my dogs care and the staff is always very helpful. I highly recommend this place.
