I took my cat to get her rabies vaccine. The nurse and I carefully reviewed the necessary vaccines and agreed that she only needed rabies. However, without consulting me, the doctor administered an additional, unnecessary vaccine. I only realized this when I received my receipt and saw that she had given my cat the FeLV vaccine, something I never requested. I was extremely upset and found this behavior both disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s frustrating because I feel that some people try to take advantage when they hear an accent, assuming the person won’t notice or question things. What’s even more concerning is that when I asked the doctor about the second syringe, she didn’t clearly state what it was. I initially thought the three-year rabies vaccine required two syringes, but now I see this was a case of dishonesty. Because of this, they have lost me as a customer. I used to bring both of my cats there, but I will now find a vet who is fair, honest, and respectful.

Feb 08, 2025 · mona alinejadI’ve been taking my pets to VCA for a few years. The doctors have always been nice and helpful. However, their supervisor Tracy is absolutely rude and nasty, she always has an attitude on the phone and never wants to help. Called recently to get some advice for one of my cats that has leukemia and because we could not bring him in that day she just brushed us off and said she can’t help and to just take him to a shelter if we can’t bring him that day. She was told she has a nasty attitude over the phone, and after the phone call she removed my three pets from the vet. She has no professionalism and she abused her power today, it’s such a shame that it’s their customer service that sucks because the doctors and nurses are great.
Aug 30, 2024 · Nisa KallicharanThis was my first visit to VCA County Veterinary Hospital. I was fortunate enough to see Dr Barron for this wellness visit. She is professional, extremely friendly and quite gentle. She spent 1 hr examining my Cockerpoo Sophie. She drew bloods and performed a thorough examination of my girl. She wasn’t rushed and treated Sophie as if she were her own. I highly recommend Dr Barron and look forward to seeing her in the future. Oh, waiting time was about 10 minutes. This vet is highly recommended.
Aug 08, 2022 · Linda PestreichI took my puppy to be looked at because he was new. He had been seen by prior vet day before from getting him. I used the FREE COUPON FOR VET EXAM. Well I guess that wasn't FREE. They were nice. I called prior and asked how much, with coupon nothing. Long behold it was $212 something like that. I said I am using coupon $113 something like that. I asked her will his next visit be two something this is when he will get his 12 week vaccinations she said yes. So how can a look over, be $212 without vaccinations just stool sample and vaccinations at the same price? They are pricey. I don't know what that amount was for. No receipt nothing. I have to locate a reasonable vet. Won't be going back. SR Shi
Aug 02, 2024 · BlessingsVery helpful and caring staff! Highly recommended. They helped me with getting my cats’ international health certificates and rabies blood titer report, in order to travel overseas. Also they write down the names of the pets visiting on the whiteboard every day, to welcome them. Very sweet. Dr. Mann took great care of my cats, noticing many signs that went uncaught by other vets. I was amazed at how he connected the dots of many minor care questions I’ve had regarding my cats since I adopted them. Turned out he’s a cat specialist! Brittany, Heather, Mary, and other staff that I didn’t catch the names were also very kind and helpful!
Nov 21, 2022 · Kate TaiWe chose VCA County Vet for our puppy based on recommendations we received from friends. As we approach almost one year at VCA, we have been so happy with the attentive care our pup has received here, especially from the wonderful Dr. Miller. Dr. Miller and each vet tech we've worked with have been patient, transparent, and empathetic with any concerns we've raised. We've also worked with Dr. Barron for dental needs, who is equally fantastic, detail oriented, and supportive. VCA staff never push us to spend unnecessarily, but they also don't cut corners. Each visit we've had has been thorough and brought us the answers we need at the time. Most importantly, our dog is at ease with Dr. Miller and all VCA staff, who take the time to comfort him and negate any vet-related fears. All the staff are warm, friendly, and willing to answer any questions you may have, whether in person or via phone. We are usually able to get an appointment within a timely manner, and sometimes even same-day if needed. Thank you to Dr. Miller and the wonderful staff at VCA County Vet!
