We absolutely love VCA Colonial. We had to take our pup in on a Sunday and it was the best experience it could have been. Everyone was caring, kind and so helpful. He had to stay the night and when we picked him up he was wonderful. I could tell he was tended to. We don’t have any emergency vets near us and I will only use Colonial for any needs in the future.

Apr 24, 2025 · Marisa ManeyWe had to bring our beloved 10 year old cat into the ER, and from the minute we walked in, I was so impressed with Colonial. Dr. Butler, Dr. Thorne, and Dr. Purdy are all extremely knowledgeable, and it's clear they genuinely care for the animals. We were navigating complicated diagnoses and difficult decisions, and the whole time we were treated with empathy, kindness, and patience.
Apr 25, 2025 · Rachel DrugerThis veterinary hospital and clinic has been a blessing. They were the only place nearby that could do a procedure that would help our cat, Fenway, lead a normal life. He needed a liver shunt surgery followed up by close observation and guidance from the medical staff at VCA Colonial Animal Hospital. So far Fenway has been episode free and seems to be leading a normal and playful kitty life. Thank you VCA Colonial.
Apr 25, 2025 · Pat HopkinsVCA Colonial became our sweet dog Stormy's health care provider shortly after Stormy arrived at our home. We found the staff, all of the staff, to be very friendly, caring and I believe genuinely concerned about us. To mention them all by name would be difficult, and I would surely omit someone. The doctors, techs, support people all are wonderful. VCA Colonial's hours are accommodating and having emergency services available provides convenient, local service when needed. Thank you Colonial!
Apr 02, 2025 · Greg StevensonI highly recommend VCA Colonial in Ithaca. Dr Cortright and her staff treated my girl Loki like she was their dog. Loki had a CT scan so had to stay at the hospital for a couple of hours. I was kept informed the entire time and every detail was thoroughly explained. I would not hesitate to reach out to VCA in the future. Dr Cortright is an exceptional Veterinarian.
