“I had an extremely disappointing experience at this veterinary clinic. I’ve been bringing my dog, Blue, here for years and never had any issues until recently. Over the last 2-3 visits, they’ve insisted that I sedate him just for the vet to see him, which I feel is unnecessary and excessive. Blue has never needed sedation before, and I can’t help but feel this new policy is more about convenience for the staff than what’s best for my dog. To make matters worse, the staff has been incredibly rude and dismissive toward me. Last time I was here, Blue got a small scrape on his leg, and the vet insisted he needed staples for a scrape that clearly didn’t require stitches. It felt like overkill and left me questioning their judgment. On the visit before that, the vet wanted my husband to administer an injection to Blue instead of doing it themselves, which was both unprofessional and uncomfortable for us as pet owners. This clinic’s approach is like a psychiatrist being scared to treat a patient with mental health issues—it just doesn’t make sense for professionals in their field. If you’re not equipped to handle common pet behaviors or basic care, why are you running a veterinary clinic? There was no effort to explain these situations in a respectful or understanding way, and the entire experience left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I won’t be coming back to this clinic and would not recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate, professional care for their pets. They need to seriously rethink their approach to both customer service and animal care.”

It's just the nicest friendliest place to go! They greet both me and my dog is if they've known us forever. Highly recommend!

All of our dogs for the past twenty or so years have been going to this hospital and I have always experienced the professionalism, compassion, and skilled training of all the staff from the front desk to the doctors. In April I had to let go of my beloved Pepper. It was one of the absolutely worst days of my life. The staff didn’t rush us and treated Pepper and my family with dignity and respect. On a recent visit with another pet, the staff remembered Pepper and recalled her personality quite well in our conversation. It brought a smile to my face knowing that they remembered her.

Tried to take my dog in for vaccination update and I got there 12 minutes late for an 8AM appt due to construction delays in Matlacha. The girl went to the back for 5 min and when she retuened told me I was too late to see the vet so would have to wait...1 other person was there. After an hr I just had to give up and head back to work. Will be just going to the Vet clinic at Tractor Supply from now on and avoid this nonsense.

Amazing service, just took my dog bestla in very professional service, fast super friendly, took good care , prescribed medication. Very reasonable price. Super nice reception ladies
