Mar 01, 2025 · BrittI wanted to say thank you to the staff at VCA Central Kitsap Animal Hospital for being so great, caring and patient. I have had cats my whole life and this vet office has seen 5 of my cats. 2 of my cats have passed away and I recently got 2 new kittens. We currently see Dr. Kuo and he is the nicest guy and true cat lover! He has a great calm personality, and I am grateful to have found him to be our regular vet. Sammy one of my cats that has passed away went to Dr. Cook the Internal Medicine Specialist, she is also great, very calm and thorough. She helped me keep Sammy comfortable and as healthy as possible during his end days. Dr. Joynt is the urgent care vet, and she has helped me with 2 of my cats, she is very personable and shared stories of her own cats and care, really appreciate her and the urgent care appointment’s when vets are so booked up all the time. Dr. Birch is a Emergency vet that works at VCA and I have seen her at the Emergency Animal Hospital in Poulsbo, she was the one that was there for me when Sammy and Jetta needed help passing. She has such a calming, reassuring demeanor, even though it was the worst of times she was so professional and caring. I just want you all to know that you are so appreciated and I am thankful to have such a great team caring for my beloved pets. Paula Cutrell Joey and Benny thank you too!
Dec 11, 2024 · Paula CutrellI had to have my dog taken into VCA Silverdale for me on March 1st by my boyfriend after he was bit by another dog. I called in advance to let them know the situation and that my guy had previously had a bad experience at a vets office and can be a change especially when restrained. My boyfriend came home telling me how amazing everyone was from the time he walked in the door to when he left. Everyone was so nice and made the experience non stressful on my pup. I was very shocked the next day when I got a text checking on my guy and making sure he was doing okay. ❤️ Thank you VCA and staff for taking such great care of my boy! -Blue and Family
Mar 25, 2025 · PNW K-9Great experience during a stressful time with our dog. We are new to the area and had an emergency late on a Sunday , we called here ahead to assure they could see her quickly. They gave me all the information/cost estimate up front & saw her immediately upon arrival. (They took our dog back alone but we then asked to be able to wait in a room with her and they let us do that right away!). We ended up needing to induce vomiting, staff/doctors were all friendly and informative letting us know what to expect and all of our options. We are grateful it worked and was resolved quickly. She was back to herself later that night and are so glad we decide to take her here.
Feb 04, 2025 · Alexandra SpalloneOur family moved to the area a few months back and finding a new vet was a stressful experience, given how anxious and reactive our pup is. Finding a vet that was patient and understanding of his behaviors was extremely important. Upon my first call to set up an appointment, I was already at ease with how willing they were to make accommodations, giving me an appointment at a quiet time with less people, and just generally expressing their experience with anxious dogs. At his appointment, the entire staff was amazing, they had his room ready so he didn’t have to wait around other people and dogs and everyone that worked with him showed him both kindness and space when he needed it. Dr. Kuo was amazing and addressed all our concerns, validated our experiences, and was extremely helpful in creating a treatment plan for us. We are so thankful to have found a fantastic vet to bring our boy to, what we thought was going to be a stressful experience, turned out to be one of the best and most helpful experiences we’ve ever had at a vet. I would HIGHLY recommend and thank everyone at VCA Central Kitsap for their patience and attentiveness, it’s extremely obvious how much they all care about their patients.
