Feb 26, 2025 · Elizabeth SchwartzEarly 2106 two of our 14 year old dogs were at a point that for quality of life we made the decision to let them go peacefully. The staff was absolutely supportive at a time we were grieving. Unfortunately our 7 year old dog was diagnosed with kidney problems late 2017 so we went back because how the awesome staff took care of us earlier and again we could not have asked for more. The veterinarian texted us late at night with test results, advice and updates when our baby had to stay. Yes their prices are a little more expensive than some (not as expensive as others) but we got more than most veterinarians have given in the past. My daughter has since adopted a dog who had an advanced case of heartworms and again the staff proved that they cared with texts and pictures of our new baby when she was in their care.
Jun 06, 2017 · Peggy VidrineThe best thing I ever did was to take my 8 week old puppy to VCA Causeway Animal Hospital. The Doctors and tech staff are wonderful. You can see how they love animals. My puppy and I were impressed by the care and attention to Lola, my French Bulldog. The entire experience was positive and comforting. Highly recommended.
Dec 12, 2016 · Nancy SVery unsatisfying, I usually go to Furry Friends, but I was suggested to come here with what was going on with my cat. (AT FURRY FRIENDS, his routined vet), A few months ago, maybe May or June , my cat had a uti, I booked him for the next day, they examined him (FURRY FRIENDS VET doc) and took a sample of his litter, determined it was a uti and gave medicine said sometimes the first dose work but sometimes it’s strong that in two weeks may need the second dose, well he was okay after, didn’t make any crying sounds anymore and was potting in the litter again. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, I had moved back to my dads and he started to make the cry out that almost sounded like a baby, so I called furry friends and explained and she said it may be that he’s blocked and take him to this VCA vet that they could help. once I arrived I was in the room waiting for the doctor or nurse of 50mins, as well as she explained the “condition” of my cat that a lot of times it’s caused by stress, and suggested to change his diet and prescribed me medicine that was needed to take that night and next two nights (3x in total) so he took it wed night, thurs night, friday night, when I get home SATURDAY NUGHT (3 NIGHTS LATER) he’s passed away and laying in the litter box, I’ve not once ever had anything wrong with him in the 3 years that I’ve had him since a kitten, and now the one time I take him to this vet he PASSES AWAY THREE NIGHTS LATER ?!?! Like I’m confused?????
