I brought in my puppy here after he got a leg injury. The entire staff was so friendly and empathetic. The wait time was great, considering that it's a 24 hour hospital, i didn't wait long for my puppy to get seen. The veterinarian and the assistant were very informative and thorough on what was going on and what would be next. They were all very knowledgeable and made me feel like my puppy was in the best of care. Facility had a great atmosphere and very clean. Even though I never want to experience my puppy going through pain again, I'm glad to know that there's a place like this. Thank you to all the staff!

Apr 04, 2025 · Andrea RaygozaThis hospital is exceptional!!! My little dachshund lost function of his back legs on Wednesday morning. He was seen through the ER and had surgery with Dr. Wachowiak the next day. Every single person at this hospital from the front desk to the technicians to the doctors truly cares about the patients as if they were their own. Frank is back home and on the mend. I am so grateful to every member of this hospital!!! Special thank you to Dr. Wachowiak for squeezing Frank in to your already fully booked schedule, Ana for keeping him safe under anesthesia, and the entire ER team for providing exceptional nursing care pre and post op!!! You guys are amazing!!! I am forever grateful!!!!
Nov 25, 2024 · Amber CraddockI lost my sweet doggy girl Mia 3 weeks ago today. It was my first time ever experiencing losing a pet like this and my heart still aches so so so much. On March 11th my family and I noticed Mia had been bloated all weekend and it was getting worse, so we took her to VCA – Ontario. I called ahead to let them know my sweet girl was bloated and they knew it was an emergency and took her in quickly. Unfortunately, there was not a permanent solution to help my sweet girl Mia and she was suffering badly. We made the difficult decision to euthanize her. It was an incredibly sad and heart-breaking moment, but I am thankful for the kind and empathic staff at VCA – Ontario. They took amazing care of my Mia girl, and they were so patient, kind, empathetic towards my family and I during this difficult time. Losing a pet will never be an easy experience, but I thank the staff at VCA- Ontario for their effort in making it as smooth and gentle as possible. May you Rest in Peace my sweet baby girl Mia, I love you so much.

Oct 26, 2024 · A RobertsWish I didn’t have to leave one star because I would really like to leave no stars at all. Started off by walking in and talking to a girl who had absolutely no emotional connection to what she was doing. It was like staring into the void. She didn’t warn me of wait times even though I did expect a long wait time. She asked me a couple questions about the issue. Had me sign a piece of paper and then I sat down for two hours. I was then approached by somebody with a comparable stare, who then fumbled through some paperwork, seemed to not know which pet I had and then proceeded to tell me that it would be another 4 to 5 hour wait because another cat was more urgent than mine. I was most definitely there longer than anybody else in that room in terms of walk-ins and the cat they wanted to take before mine was suspected to have a urinary track infection where mine had swallowed some dangerous toxic things. Literally, other patients as they heard the conversation take place picked up their animals and walked out before I even had a chance to do so myself. Horribleplace with horrible human beings working there. And by the way, I called another emergency vet hospital (one that this vet hospital recommended!) that was very shocked that you didn’t at least take my pet back for some vitals. If my cat dies, I’ll send you the announcement you miserable people.
