VCA Brighton Animal Hospital

We have been coming to VCA since we relocated to Brighton 2 years ago, and we've always felt the team here took great care of our senior pup, Toby. He was usually seen by Dr. Riddle and she was very good with him (and us!). When it came time to think about Toby's best interests, she was very compassionate and validating without pushing us in any one direction. Meghan was equally supportive about our situation, and she helped me immensely at Toby's last appointment. When the time came to say goodbye a few days later, we were heartbroken, but felt that the office had prepared us as well as possible. I was so relieved to see Meghan, knowing she would support Toby AND us through this difficult time. Dr. Andrea was kind and compassionate that day as well. As all pet parents know, it is heart-wrenching to be in that situation. We are incredibly grateful that we had the team at VCA to guide and support us like they did. They did everything they could. For all of us.

What dog isn't nervous about going to the vet? Dr Richter and all the vet techs are very accomodating, respectful and careful interacting with Blue. They read his body language well and do everything they can to keep him at ease. Sure cost is always a concern, but everything seems reasonable to us, and they are happy to tell you up front individual item costs and let you decide without pressure. TMI: Blue has had blocked glands a few times, and we're never sure if it's happening again. The vet techs have checked him several times for no charge, if he didn't need to be expressed.

So happy I found this vet! Adopted a new puppy and she was having issues…after going here for a second opinion we finally got a correct diagnosis and prompt treatment. Every single staff member so far has been friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. The doctor did a very thorough exam and I feel confident of her future care in their hands. Thank you VCA of Brighton for making our puppy healthy and happy!

Dr. Richter and the whole VCA Brighton Animal Hospital gang are my heros. They are there for us every time we need something. I trust them 1000% and they are all so friendly and knowledgeable. I take all of my cats and my Golden Retriever there and I’m always confident that they are in the best care possible. We lost one of our cats last year unexpectedly last year to FIP, and they were there for us every step of the way. They even sent us a condolence card, which was so thoughtful and comforting. Our other cat had some recent behavioral changes and they helped us get to the bottom of it. They always check in to see how things are going after the appointments, and it makes the stress always so much lighter for me. I’m so glad that I have found this office, and Dr. Richter. Undeniably, the best care for my Baby Kitten Penelope! Everyone there treats her with all the compassionate and kindness a kitten could ever need! Not to mention the excellent customer service to their clients owners! Doctors and nurses are very informative on all levels. Ready to meet and serve every need of the animals and their owners! Big shout out to our Veterinarian Dr. Evan Bruin! You and your staff all deserve a raise ! 👏 🙌 ✨️
