This clinic is amazing. Dr. Nelson and her team have taken care of our cats for years and they always receive the best care. The staff at VCA Bolingbrook is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate with people and animals alike. They've helped us through everything from arthritis to a lung mass, chronic upper respiratory infections, heart disease and more, and I know for certain that we've been blessed with more quality years with our cats than we would have had without Dr. Nelson. Thank you to Dr. Nelson and VCA Bolingbrook for what you do! Highly recommend.

Don’t goto this clinic.. i believe they try to dig more than actually needed and charge more on you. Our dog has etchings and ear infetction. Finally they charged 500 short for the visit. The diagnosis charge is 140$ which is over the average price. Also they prescribed allergy pills to us about 100$ (without allergy test) and claimed the allergy. I asked whether they had small amount of allergy pills to try first since i worried whether the dog will take the pills. At home i tried, but the dog refused to take pills, i called back to see whether i can exchange the pills to liquid type, but said no way. There are more issues, and please read more in the below. The total items from the bills: .Otomax 30g. QTY: 1.00 tube (a tiny tube) .Apoquel 16 mg: 34 pills .Epi-Otic Advanced 8oz/237mL [321.171]: 1.00 btl We only got those medicine. Other items they charge: . Exam/Consultation Medical Condition [1.2]: . Cytology Ear/Ear Clean [101.159] # They brought our dog to another room for clean and took about 10-15 minutes, we couldn't see what they did for clean. If it is a charge for about 125$ for such as short service, we will definitely refuse it. Also from my understanding about my dog, he will not easily be coordinated to let other stranger to do the ear cleaning, so I am not sure what happened there because I have no chance to see what happened there. . Nutritional Consultation Included [1.500]: 1.00 each # We didn't ask for nutritional consultation really, we believed it was just a casual chat in the visit with technician. I don't understand why this item is listed as a service here. This is based on my true real experience, I just follow my heart here. Total charge is 487$.

I can not express enough how happy I am that we chose to use VCA Bolingbrook for our pet care needs. They have been very attentive to the needs of our fur babies. Our newest puppy Roo is a bit on the hyper ,mouthy (vocal)side and they treat her with such kindness and love. We just had her spade and she is doing so well following the surgery it’s been nothing short of a blessing

Dr. Vicky Nelson is a literal angel. Her and the entire staff offer so much care and guidance with our dog, Blue. We have a special dog that requires special needs and I’ve always gotten so much support from this clinic. Very grateful to have found this clinic and to have Dr. Nelson as our vet!!!

This group is awesome! Very caring. They helped me thru a hard time with my dog. Dr Nelson took so much of her time to work with me regarding my other dogs diet. Even texted me after hours to check on him! Highly recommend!
