We have been with blue cross for a few years after switching from another vet that just didn’t treat our boy with the love and kindness he deserved. After switching we immediately fell in love and recommended blue cross to everyone. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our boy this week and it’s been one of the most painful decisions we have had to make but with the help of the vets and techs we know it was the right one. Every visit was amazing, but this last one you could just feel how much the staff all love and care about each animal that comes into the practice. They treated us and our boy so well in the final moments. We are forever grateful for blue cross. Katie and Jesse Radecki

Apr 15, 2025 · Kathleen RadeckiJust moved to Buffalo and was recommended to come here by multiple people! I am so thankful they recommended me to come here! I had a pretty bad experience at another local vet where I felt they just didn’t really care. I could tell how much the vet assistant and vet cared for my boy! He even loved them back! Can’t wait to keep bringing my boys here knowing how much they will be valued and cared for! My boy Appa had a skin infection and I was able to make an appointment for the next day - super quick and easy to make an appointment online! They then treated him and walked me through next steps of at home treatment as well. Thank you for being so kind to me and my fur baby! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Mar 14, 2025 · Hannah CoreyWe took our puppy Petey for his first checkup, and the staff could not have been more professional or friendly. We were a little concerned about the visit with COVID measures still at stage 1, the team at Blue Cross it handling things phenomenally and we were immediately put at ease. Petey was comfortable and well cared for, this is going to be his permanent vet. For extra peace of mind it is good to know they have an emergency clinic as well.
May 29, 2020 · Ryan GilbertI have been going there for 14 years. I have three pets. Every vet is good, helpful and offers me various alternatives within my budget. Dr Hillegas is especially helpful with my kitty who has Feline Herpes. She was dogged ( pardon the pun) in striving to find an alternative treatment for Francis the cat do he could breathe. She would not quit until we figured out how to help him. I love the staff. Shannon and Olivia and Sam and Desiree. So good natured and kind and joyful.
Nov 08, 2019 · Bernadette RuofI had an emergency with my new 8 week old puppy and couldn’t get her in anywhere. I called vca and they were booked for the day but said to bring her in and they would find time. The staff kept her behind the desk so she wouldn’t be scared. They kept in touch with me all day and after I picked her up they still kept in touch awaiting blood work . The doctor and the staff were amazing and I am so grateful. The puppy is doing great!!
