SCAM OF A PLACE. can NEVER see a vet that can figure out what’s wrong with your dog. Just non stop antibiotics and wasting your damn time and your dogs just getting worse. Oh ya but their receptionist will tell you more than their fake online doctors will. 0/0 they won’t heal your dog and will only make them worse and scam you for thousands. Won’t ever return my dogs here. I suggest you don’t either unless you want to just waste money in this economy. Will be calling my credit card company and getting every dollar back for the fraud this office has committed. Do your job not that hard. MY POOR DOG HAS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR MONTHS.

VCA Arden Animal Hospital Introduce
Welcome to the introduction of VCA Arden Animal Hospital, a dedicated pet hospital located at 407 Arden Ave, Glendale, CA 91203, USA. Operating under the broader category of a Pet Hospital, VCA Arden Animal Hospital aims to provide comprehensive veterinary care and related services for your beloved animal companions. This introduction will delve into various aspects of the clinic, drawing upon available information to offer a detailed overview for local users seeking reliable pet healthcare.
As a Pet Hospital, VCA Arden Animal Hospital serves as a crucial resource for pet owners in and around Glendale, California. These facilities are designed to offer a wide spectrum of medical, surgical, and preventative care to ensure the health and well-being of pets. From routine check-ups and vaccinations to complex surgical procedures and emergency care, a pet hospital plays a vital role in the lives of animals and their owners.
Based on available information, including customer reviews, the environment at VCA Arden Animal Hospital appears to be a point of both positive and negative feedback. One reviewer expressed deep gratitude for the kindness of the staff, highlighting the friendly and supportive atmosphere created by everyone from the front desk to the veterinary technicians and the veterinarian, Dr. Limburg. This positive account suggests a caring and compassionate environment where pet owners feel their concerns, no matter how small, are taken seriously. The reviewer specifically praised Dr. Limburg for her consistent dedication and willingness to go above and beyond for her patients, indicating a strong commitment to patient care within the clinic.
However, another review paints a starkly different picture, describing the facility as a "SCAM OF A PLACE." This reviewer alleges difficulties in finding a veterinarian who can accurately diagnose their dog's health issues, leading to prolonged treatment with antibiotics and a perceived worsening of the animal's condition. The review criticizes the effectiveness of the online doctors and ironically suggests that the receptionist is more informative. This negative feedback raises concerns about the diagnostic capabilities and overall quality of care experienced by this particular customer, who further claims to have spent a significant amount of money without seeing improvement in their pet's health. The accusation of fraud and the intention to seek a refund from their credit card company indicates a high level of dissatisfaction and a belief that the services provided were not only ineffective but also financially exploitative.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, it is important for potential local users to weigh these experiences when considering VCA Arden Animal Hospital for their pet care needs. While one long-term customer speaks highly of the consistent and compassionate care received over a decade, another recent customer expresses extreme dissatisfaction and distrust.
In terms of services offered, as a general Pet Hospital, VCA Arden Animal Hospital likely provides a range of essential veterinary services. These typically include:
- Preventative Care: This encompasses routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite control (flea, tick, heartworm), and nutritional counseling to help keep pets healthy and prevent potential health issues.
- Diagnostic Services: These are crucial for identifying health problems and may include laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams), imaging techniques (X-rays, ultrasound), and other specialized tests.
- Medical Treatment: This involves the management of various illnesses and conditions through medication, therapies, and supportive care.
- Surgical Services: Many pet hospitals offer a range of surgical procedures, from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
- Dental Care: Dental health is vital for pets, and services may include teeth cleaning, extractions, and treatment of dental diseases.
- Emergency Care: While not explicitly mentioned in the provided information, many full-service animal hospitals offer or have affiliations for emergency veterinary services during and after regular hours.
- Specialty Services: Depending on the size and resources of the hospital, they might also offer access to specialists in areas such as cardiology, dermatology, oncology, or ophthalmology, either on-site or through referrals.
Given the VCA (Veterinary Centers of America) affiliation, it is plausible that VCA Arden Animal Hospital benefits from the resources and network of a larger organization. This could potentially translate to a wider range of services, access to advanced medical technologies, and adherence to certain standards of care. However, the specific services offered at this particular location would need to be confirmed directly with the hospital.
Features of VCA Arden Animal Hospital, based on the limited information, include a team of veterinary professionals comprising veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff. The positive review highlights the kindness and dedication of this staff, particularly mentioning Dr. Limburg. This suggests a focus on a patient-centered approach, where communication and empathy are valued. However, the negative review raises concerns about the expertise and diagnostic abilities of at least some of the veterinarians encountered by that customer.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given text. Typically, pet hospitals might promote services such as seasonal vaccinations, dental health months, senior pet wellness programs, or new client specials. To obtain information about any current promotions or special offers at VCA Arden Animal Hospital, local users would need to contact them directly via phone at (818) 246-2478 or +1 818-246-2478.
In conclusion, VCA Arden Animal Hospital in Glendale, CA, operates as a Pet Hospital offering veterinary care to the local community. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with one long-term client praising the kind and dedicated staff, particularly Dr. Limburg, while another recent client expresses severe dissatisfaction with the diagnostic process and perceived financial exploitation. May 07, 2025 · SintiyaI truly am so grateful for how kind the staff is. Everyone from the front desk, to the vet techs and most especially our vet, Dr. Limburg. I am beyond grateful for her for always being there for me and my pets, no matter how silly my concern is. She truly goes above and beyond consistently. I have been going to this office for about 10 years, and even though we’ve moved from the area, this is still my primary veterinarian office.
May 13, 2025 · Chrissy HarbisonI have mixed feelings about VCA after an encounter this afternoon. Previously, our puppy would attend VCA Gateway in Glendale and he is legitimately the happiest pup when he goes in to see the front desk and vets! They made him feel so comfortable, and I've never had a pet so happy to be at the vet before. Then, at the end of February we had an appointment for his final Leptospirosis vaccine and through context clues on what the front desk staff were speaking about, we found out that we were there on the very last day VCA Gateway would be open, and that my puppy's medical records would be transferred to Arden. I understand that VCA is a massive veterinary practice with probably thousands of patients, but never once was I called or emailed about this change until AFTER. Nonetheless, I let that slide and was ok with the change to VCA Arden. Also, throughout my time with VCA - specifically Gateway - I sent them my puppy's medical records from the rescue we got him from & they never updated his records, so every time I would go in, I'd get a lecture about being overdue on vaccines and have to cut the vet off and say "actually, he is fully vaccinated and I sent proof over 2-3 times." Still nothing changed, but again, a headache I was willing to put up with for the quality of care and the happiness our pup felt going into each vet appointment Today I called VCA Arden as we have a slightly urgent issue with our puppy. I was told that the next available appointment for him wouldn't be until this upcoming Monday, so 5 days from now. I was like "unfortunately that doesn't seem acceptable for this issue..." and I was met with no advice or feedback on what to do otherwise. It's not an issue that really needs the pain (financially and emotionally lol) of an emergency room visit, but it is something we'd like addressed within 24-48 hours. I was met with a callous "we got an influx of patients from Gateway closing and are trying to navigate this." While that's totally 100% fair, I did still expect to get some expert advice on where to go from here, and I was also promised a text message with a route to get my puppy's medical records finally updated so the next time we do need to come into VCA I can avoid another lecture. We'll see if that text message comes, but so far I haven't received anything except an email with the half-baked medical records so I could "Take him somewhere else" for this issue. I'm very upset with this poor bedside manner. I don't want to necessarily blame the individual I spoke to on the phone as I understand that customer service is a very hard and thankless job, you often get berated by customers who think they know better than you. But unfortunately, as territory within the field, I fully expect a friendly person on the other side of the phone when calling my vet's office ready to offer expert advice and apologize for shortcomings. When I brought up the medical records issue, I received a "that sounds like a Gateway issue" - well, unfortunately Gateway is closed now and I can't take it up with them, so now its an Arden issue, so I don't need to receive that kind of attitude when I'm concerned about my puppy and want to be able to avoid unnecessary delays to his care.
Apr 23, 2025 · Katey FarmanianWe are so lucky to be at VCA Arden. I am blown away by the kindness and professionalism of their entire staff: the receptionists, the vets, the techs. We have a medically complex dog and they have done an incredible job of helping us with extreme kindness and understanding. I also appreciate that they know so much about who to refer out to if a surgery is required or a situation is very complex. They’ve always steered us well and taken the extra time to make sure we feel confident and understand what is going on with our dog. The entire staff is so kind and wonderful, they’ve saved our dog and made our lives so much better. I can’t recommend VCA Arden enough. We love Dr Loo and Dr Philbin but honestly every vet there (and we’ve seen a lot of them!!) has been kind and compassionate and thorough which is everything you want in a vet.
