VCA Animal Wellness Center of Maple Grove

Amazing clinic, grooming, and boarding experience. I really trust the staff with my pets due to Fear Free handling and their expertise. My dog always has so much fun at daycare— Highly recommend!!

The vet tech that I worked with was really great, if not for that I would give this clinic just 2 stars. I felt so rushed by the actual doctor who did not check to see if I understood all the things she was throwing at me. In hindsight, it was a really great way of getting me to agree to services we didn’t actually need. I did not get a quote on those services & forgot to ask ahead of time, I ended up paying double what I paid for the same services at a different clinic (exam, bloodwork panel, vaccines) and nearly choked when I went to check out. Then, they called to let us know that they had forgotten to include one of the tests the vet wanted to run & it would be another almost $200 to do (we opted not to after already paying over $600). Looking back into our pup’s records we discovered that we had agreed to this test a year prior and they were unable to perform it because they didn’t collect enough urine - we still paid for the test itself at that time. I brought this up to the clinic & was told the manager needed to look into it & would call to follow up. That was 2 weeks ago now & nothing. Then, they prescribed antibiotics and we asked to have the prescription sent to our usual pharmacy. Hours later they let us know that our pharmacy didn’t have the dosage we needed. No alternatives were offered so I had no choice but to get them directly from the clinic. 10 little doses in a foil pack were over $35, GoodRx said we could get that for less than $10 at most pharmacies. When I asked about the price difference they said there was a ‘fulfillment charge’ included. Counting to 10 is expensive apparently. We’ve been going for a long time and the quality of care has plummeted while the costs have skyrocketed. We’re moving all 5 of our animals to Maple Grove Pet Hospital instead.

From the front reception to the technicians, doctors and the boarding staff my very much afraid of everything in the world. Great Dane and French Bulldogs found comfort and ease ! Their “no fear “philosophy is no joke. My fur babies love it here! Highly recommend!!

An absolutely perfect experience everyone was nice and the few vets I've been to haven't listened or cared when I said that my cat would come out and to not be rough with him because then he'll be angry. These people actually listened and tried coaxing him out and when that didn't work they asked me if they could remove the top from the carrier to make it easier.

Such wonderful caring people. Always so kind..they took care of our notch dog when she was with us. She passed here at home so peaceful. We took her to vca. So so kind and generally caring. They took care of everything with love and helped us so much. Thank you
