This clinic, led by Dr. Vanderlinden Stewart (referred to as "Dr. V" in a review), appears to prioritize a positive experience for both pets and their owners, emphasizing clear communication and understanding.
Based on the limited but positive online reviews, Vanderlinden Stewart DVM seems to be particularly adept at handling anxious animals. One reviewer specifically mentioned that they "Love Dr V" and highlighted his excellent rapport with their anxious dog. This suggests that Dr. Stewart possesses a calm and reassuring demeanor, taking the necessary time and employing techniques to make nervous pets feel more comfortable during examinations and procedures. This can be a significant factor for pet owners who struggle with bringing their fearful companions to the vet.
The same reviewer also praised Dr. Stewart for being "always friendly, patient, knowledgeable," and for taking the time to thoroughly answer all questions. This indicates a commitment to clear and open communication with pet owners, ensuring they understand their pet's condition, the proposed treatment plans, and any available alternatives. This dedication to patient education can empower owners to make informed decisions about their pet's healthcare.
However, this reviewer also noted a perceived change in the clinic, mentioning that they "Wish their office hadn't gone high tech" and that they "liked them better when their prices were lower." This suggests that the clinic may have implemented new technologies or updated their facilities, which could have resulted in an increase in service costs. While the reasons behind this perceived price increase are not detailed, it's a point of consideration for budget-conscious pet owners.
Another reviewer described the staff as "very kind, compassionate and thorough." This reinforces the theme of a caring and empathetic approach at Vanderlinden Stewart DVM. The reviewer further elaborated that the staff "understood the love I have for my fur baby" and took the time to explain "all possibilities, courses of action and temporary solutions." This level of detail and consideration for the owner's emotional investment in their pet is a hallmark of a patient-centered practice. The willingness to discuss various options and even temporary measures indicates a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to veterinary care.
Given the information available, Vanderlinden Stewart DVM appears to be a Pet Hospital where the human-animal bond is valued, and efforts are made to provide both excellent medical care and a positive experience for pets and their owners. Dr. Stewart is highlighted as a knowledgeable and patient veterinarian, particularly skilled in working with anxious animals. The staff is described as kind, compassionate, and thorough, emphasizing clear communication and a comprehensive approach to pet health concerns.
The review mentioning a shift towards "high tech" suggests that the clinic may be investing in modern equipment and technologies to enhance their diagnostic and treatment capabilities. While this could potentially lead to higher costs, it may also translate to more advanced and efficient medical care for pets. However, without further information on the specific technologies implemented and the range of services offered, it is difficult to assess the full impact of this change.
The available reviews do not provide specific details about the clinic's environment or facilities. Information regarding the waiting area, examination rooms, and any specialized equipment is not mentioned. Prospective clients may wish to inquire about the clinic's facilities to ensure they meet their expectations for comfort and functionality.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. Pet owners interested in learning about any special offers, discounts, or financing options should contact Vanderlinden Stewart DVM directly.
In conclusion, Vanderlinden Stewart DVM in Las Vegas appears to be a Pet Hospital that prioritizes compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough veterinary care. Dr. Stewart's ability to work well with anxious dogs and the staff's commitment to clear communication and exploring various treatment options are notable strengths highlighted in the customer feedback. While a perceived increase in prices due to the adoption of "high tech" practices is mentioned as a potential consideration, the overall impression is of a caring and competent veterinary practice. Pet owners seeking a veterinarian who is patient, communicative, and skilled, especially with nervous animals, may find Vanderlinden Stewart DVM to be a suitable choice. Direct contact with the clinic would be beneficial to gather more information about their specific services, facilities, and current pricing.

Jun 19, 2024 · M. Lillian McCurryAbsolute con men. Paid $300 for annual dental check up. Originally, no problems, teeth fine. I kept questioning the vet assistants of why if no problems, was my cats breath so bad, why won’t she eat well? Eventually an actual vet came out to tell me Stomatitis (had to fight for this information, with the constant questions). They gave her an antibiotic shot and intimated problem solved. Wrong (I learned from another vet office). First, they didn’t suggest to buy “hypoallergenic” food. Second, they never suggested getting a biopsy to find the cause of the Stomatitis. Complete waste of money. Totally ripped off. They also “accidentally” charged me twice for a $70 or so dollar procedure, had to go back and question it. They refunded it with no issue. How many people do you extra charge by accident? Find somewhere else to go.
