READ THIS!!!! Before Going to this VET!!! I have taken my dog here about a month and a half ago for regular checkup and vaccines and flea prevention medicine. Dr. Poole looked at my dog and said he was in good health and no concerns. I took my dog home and two days later my dog seemed uninterested in doing normal activities. Mind you my dog is very playful and energetic all the time. So I gave my dog about weeks and still the same result ( I figured it was from the vaccines that maybe he was a bit sluggish and it was during the holidays so they were closed for a bit). So finally I took my dog back to the vet ( which they also charged me again for a checkup even though I let them know he wasn’t feeling well after the first visit). The females that work there are good the only thing that I disliked was that they want to do there exams in the back without you being present I didn’t understand that. So Dr. Poole comes in and advised me that we should do a lab test on my dog to see why he is acting like this. ( with this being my second visit in only one month me and the doctor conversation totaled to about 1minute and 30 seconds combined with both visits ). There is NO connection between you and the doctor at all to ensure that you trust him or his word or his practice. After the lab results he called me and notified me that my dog was a little bit sick and that it was a minor issue. They gave me medication ( a month supply) and told me he should be feeling better after the second dose. After the second dose my dog started to feel better and had some days were he was doing good but also had some days were he was not doing so good. January 4 @ 6am my dog took his last breath in my arms. We rushed him to the emergency vet and they informed me that he had a lot of fluid in his stomach and also around his heart. I dont understand how I took my dog to the vet twice and they told me he was in good health and than taking him to the emergency vet and they let me know in five mins that he has an issue. After they issued his medicine I have yet to receive a phone call to see how my dog is doing. My heart is so broken that my dog is no longer here with me. My gut kept telling I should have taken him to a different Vet before stepping foot in this place and maybe if I did my dog would still be here with me today. Sometimes cheap is not always good because you don’t get the best quality of care that your pet deserves. I am not trying to downplay this vet. This is just my experience with them and it happens to not be a good experience. Had I would have seen a post like this one I would have not taken my dog here. I hope this helps.

Great experience after going to another vet because my frenchie’s face and neck was swollen. They provided options for treatment to fit my budget. I wish they were closer the drive through downtown and up 85 is atrocious. Nonetheless, great customer service, clean facilities, just all-round best choice! Thank you all at Value Vet.

This place is good. Always available appointments either same day or next day. It’s always clean. And very good low prices. Cheaper than most places for sure. 1 Doctor to my knowledge. He’s kinda fast and matter of fact but seems knowledgeable and gives effective care advice and treatments. He’s taken care of our dog for 4 years. No complaints at all.

I went there because my cat had a pink eye and the attention from the vets to the medication was very effective. Their prices are affordable and people are very kind. I highly recommend them.

My dog has been coming to this Vet his entire life, 12 years. Today I brought my precious (27 pound) blind dog in for an ear infection and skin issues. The assistant treated us very strange, and seemed to be scared of my Cocker Spaniel. After check in she told me to place my dog on the table and she would be back with the Vet. She seemed to be very irritated, and then brought in a blue mouth muzzle and indicated that our dog was on the warning list for biting. My dog has never bit a staff member, and this was never expressed to me the last time we visited. The Vet came in, and acted like he was upset that I asked him why a muzzle was needed. He replied "this has nothing to do with him" and then told us that he would not be dealing with our dog. It seems as if this particular Value Vet is RACIST, and treats people of color horribly. I say this because I saw that the staff treated other customers that looked like them with class and courtesy. It's a terrible shame that people come in to work, but don't work and want to collect a paycheck, and treat people mean. Shame on you Value Vet of Lawrenceville for hiring DEMONS, we won't be back and I pray that your clinic gets shut down.
