The experience was great from the start. Setting up the appointment was easy & the women on the phone was so sweet. Our vet tech who did our inprocess was amazing! They explained what would happen & answered all my questions no matter how ridiculous or off topic they were. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable & assured me my dragon was in great hands. Our Veterinarian was awesome! She was upbeat and to the point. She validated my feelings about the situation going, she complimented me on how well kept my dragon was which was a huge confidence booster. She walked me through every step and explained in detail what she was doing and why they do it. After the appointment before we got discharged the vet tech came in and again made me feel so at easy. I 100% will & already have recommended this place. Not only do you all do amazing with the animals you make the owners feel heard and confident. Thank you all for what you do.

Hi. I don’t really know how to say any of this. About a month ago my bunny Maple went in for a spay. She was about a year old and was my best friend. My normal vet I take my bunnies to retired so I needed to find a different vet to take her to. I heard okay things about valley view, so I decided to take her here. I don’t know what it was, but the day of the appointment something felt wrong. I got a call hours after I dropped her off that she passed away. I was and am still a mess about it. I talked to the vet later that night. What’s really messing with me about it was she said that Maple woke up out of sedation and they hadn’t started the procedure yet. All that was done was an incision on her. But yeah she said she woke up and had a heart attack. They got her stable, but she had another one and passed. Listen, I understand this sort of thing can happen. Bunnies can have heart attacks and problems like this on rare occasions. It’s the fact that she woke up and then it occurred. Not necessarily saying it’s the vets fault, but it’s heavy on me. I’ll forever live with regret and the big unknown of what happened to her. Do with this as you’d like. This situation gives me extreme anxiety about finding a new vet again for my other rabbits. It was still 440 dollars and I didn’t get her back. I understand paying for everyone time and resources, but it felt like there was no compassion. That is all. Rest in peace my sweet Maple.

We absolutely love everyone at Valley View. They offer price matching on prescriptions, which is such a great perk. Recently, we had to say goodbye to our dog, and they provided us with a cozy, peaceful room that had a couch, lamp, heater, extra chair, tissues, and even a small area with blankets and a pad for our fur baby. The entire team was incredibly empathetic and kind, giving us all the time we needed and never rushing us. We truly appreciate the care and compassion they showed. To top it off, one of the vet techs—who turned out to be our neighbor—came to our home afterward with flowers and a treat for our other dog. Their kindness went above and beyond. We are so grateful for everyone at Valley View.

Dr. Alisha is a great veterinarian and I cannot recommend her enough, particularly as an exotic veterinarian. She has a sharp eye for identifying subtle signs of illness and thinks thoroughly about potential treatment options to give her patients the best possible outcome. One of my young guinea pigs developed a serious and persistent infection in her eye after it was removed due to cancer. The infection was deep in her eye socket and we were worried that it would spread to her bones. Things were touch and go for a few weeks and we didn't know if my guinea pig was going to pull through. Dr. Alisha worked so hard to give my guinea pig a second chance at life, and because of her creativity and expertise, my guinea pig beat the odds and made a full recovery. I cannot thank her and the team at Valley View enough for all they did for my guinea pig. She would not be alive without them! I also have two senior guinea pigs whose heart disease is managed well because of Dr. Alisha's care. I fully trust her to provide top-notch care for all my animals, including my dog. It's rare to find an exotic veterinarian that you can fully trust, especially with guinea pigs whose medical care is usually more nuanced and complicated than most other pets. I appreciate how attentive she is, how well she listens to my concerns, and how she works so hard to provide the best care for all her patients.

Brought my 9 year old chinchilla, Ella, in for her first ever vet visit. I am very satisfied and felt it was well worth it. Would recommend for those of you in the south metro like myself!
