I took my puppy when she was really sick, unfortunately she didn’t make it out regardless of all the hard work and effort the staff put to save her life. It was a hard process to go through and Urgent Vet made it easier to understand. They went above and beyond to show how much they cared for my puppy (pelusa) and for myself. They were really compassionate and caring and I am beyond thankful to have chosen them as my vet. I 100% recommend taking your pet friends to their facility. Thank you Urgent Vet staff.

"I took my kitty to see this urgent care after him not eating for a day or so and they were VERY attentive right from the beginning. They put us in a room that was specifically for cats which was huge for my boy because he does not like being in his carrier at all, and the moment he got out of it and walked around the room, he started to seem to be more at ease but the cherry on top was the cat room defuser they had plugged into the wall and the treats specifically for cats. When the vet tech came in she said that they work very hard at making sure that their clients both animals and humans feel comfortable and then she gave me a selection of delectable treats for him to choose from while we waited for him to be seen by the vet. This to me was huge when I saw him eagerly lap up the treat from her because he did not seem interested in food the past day. Needless to say he was purring a few moments later and as she left while we waited I left to help myself to the bubbly drinks and some healthier options they had for snacks as well. Going to an urgent care with your fur baby is stressful but I assure you if you bring your kitty (and even I’m sure dog, we’re bringing ours here if we end up needing after care when our vet is closed). Even down to the summary before he eventually was treated, they allowed me to choose the best steps for his care and I left feeling better about not spending more then what I felt like we needed to at the moment as it was not serious and with him given after care meds and a few shots when I brought him home we got him to eat!!! The place was also VERY clean and had charging stations for phones too. THANK YOU URGENT VET for helping our sassy boy feel better!!"

Thanks to Veterinarian Dr. Otto my dog is alive today. We went in because our 6 yr old pit bull Nisha was weak and very bloated. As soon as Dr. Otto saw her and physically examined Nisha she said she thought it was pyometra which can cause death if an emergency surgery wasn’t performed asap. Dr. Otto confirmed that it was pyometra. I thought of putting our baby to sleep because surgery was expensive BUT we found an affordable animal hospital in Illinois and my baby got surgery and she is now herself, the diagnosis was made this past Monday 11/11/24 and within days my dog started to be her happy self. Also wanna thank Gabriella and Jessica for being such kind souls. Thank you all 🙌🏻

UrgentVet is the perfect option when you can't get a quick appointment with your regular vet, but it's also not a life threatening emergency. My pup's ear was bothering him, but our vet was already closed for the day and my pup got more uncomfortable with each passing hour. I took him to UrgentVet. I loved scheduling the arrival time online. We were immediately greeted after checking in via the kiosk in the front lobby, and taken to an exam room. Every person we interacted with listened intently, and was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, handled my dog with great care during the exam. He was diagnosed and treated quickly. It was all very efficient (and did not feel rushed). I would not hesitate to visit them again if necessary, and will definitely recommend them to others. Thank you, everyone, on the UrgentVet Team!

Our dog had some concerning GI issues that weren’t resolving and I decided to bring her in to UrgentVet after my regular vet closed for the day. We made an online appointment, were greeted and brought to a room immediately, and a tech did an initial assessment. Delays were communicated as other, more acute, cases came in. The vet and tech were knowledgeable, kind, and empathetic. They handled my upset dog extremely well. Cost estimates were provided up front. I thought the costs were on par with my regular vet. Definitely less than the ER vet. They have imaging capabilities and were able to select the right tests to get a diagnosis. They were able to provide medications and subcutaneous fluids. The whole visit took about 2.5 hours and my dog is stabilized enough to be comfortable until her follow up appointment with our main vet. I think this is a great service and filling a need in the area.
