I just had THE MOST COMFORTING vet care experience I have ever had in all my life of having pets as family members that do on occasion need urgent care. When a situation requires urgent attention you are already on edge and finding a place that is nearby, that will have an opening when you arrive so your fur-family member isn’t waiting long and that is reputable is a very tall order and chaotic feelings can make finding the right place very challenging. Look no further, bookmark their google page or just add them now to your contacts list in your phone. I cannot speak highly enough about the following: 1. The facility is IMMACULATE 2. The staff are so welcoming and steady in their energy; their vibe IMMEDIATELY calmed me down 3. They made the sign-in process absolutely a breeze so that your fur-family member gets attention ASAP 4. The triage portion of the visit was so lovely, non-stressful and our dog was instantly calmed down by Victoria’s gentle voice, talking directly to our dog, not over her to me; even the questions she was asking me she kept eye contact with Haze, our dog, so that Haze felt her engagement. She also offered her hugs which our Haze loved and she just held her for a few moments to make her feel completely safe in the space. Five stars are not enough for Victoria. 5. They walked me through their treatment recommendations after examining her and waited for my OK before proceeding to make sure all the options within the plan were within my comfort level and financial ability to pay. My only wish is that they could offer regular vet practice hours as well. I would love to switch, and would do so in a heartbeat.

If you have a pet/vet emergency, this is absolutely the place to go. The staff took excellent care of my dog who had come in with symptoms of a uti. The wait time was a bit long but I didn't mind because they were constantly giving us updates and checking on us while they were taking my dog for tests. Not to mention they had water, coffee, tea, and snacks for us while we waited. She was taken care of so well that when the techs brought my dog back into the room her tail was wagging and she had the biggest smile. Staff was very friendly, and made sure my dog was as comfortable as possible at all times.

A heartfelt thank you for the entire staff at UrgentVet , Oceanside NY. . Came in Sunday afternoon with Cosmo after an apparent accidental toxic ingestion incident. The staff knew immediately what it was and he was treated accordingly. After 12 hours , he was fully recovered and doing well. Staff was very professional, accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend

We brought our 3-year-old chihuahua here due to stomach issues and pain. The staff was incredibly friendly, empathetic, and treated Maxine with such care during her x-rays and treatment. They explained every step and associated costs upfront, with excellent bedside manner. We appreciated being allowed to see her during treatment and staying informed throughout the process. Thank you to everyone who took care of her!

This is the best Care given to my dog ever! Victoria and Dr Kimberly Atkinson were the best to ever handle my little princess. I could not have asked for better service and care. They both handled her with extreme compassion and love as for the first time in her life was not afraid of the VET!
