Urban Livestock and Equine Veterinary Services is hands down the best vet clinic I’ve ever worked with. They go above and beyond to make sure every animal gets personalized and attentive care. Recently, my horse had a serious issue, and their team responded quickly, providing a thorough exam and thoughtful treatment plan. What sets them apart is their professionalism paired with warmth and kindness. They took the time to follow up and made sure I had all the resources I needed to continue care at home. It’s rare to find a veterinary service that feels more like family, but Urban Livestock has managed to create just that. I trust them completely and will always recommend their services to others.

Rating from both a client standpoint & employee, Urban has had such an impact on my life. I have never worked at an animal hospital where I felt so important, felt listened to or felt so passionate about the work that they provide. All the doctors have treated my animals like they were their own. Last year I had 3 pets all cross the rainbow bridge. The empathy and professionalism from every single coworker was heart warming. I wish I could scream from the rooftops how much this business means to the owners. Both doctors and fellow technicians treat every client like they are family & the level of skill they all have, for every species is inspiring. I couldn’t and wouldn’t have wanted anyone else helping me say goodbye to my own pets.

Urban Livestock has been our family vet for the past 8 years, and we couldn’t be happier with their care. Over the years, we’ve experienced many highs and lows with our animals, and Dr. McKinney and the team have always been incredibly supportive and full of compassion. They’ve cared for everything from our family dogs and not-so-barn cats to pot-bellied pigs, Nigerian and Nubian goats, quarter horses, and even chickens. Doc. C and his crew came out to my farm a few days ago. They were A ++++++++!!! All of my animals were seen, 40 chickens 6 ducks, 3 geese, and 5 goats. They stood outside in the blistering sun with me as I asked ALL of the questions. They didn’t rush my visit at all. They stayed here for over an hour just going over my notes, giving me suggestions, and were MORE than happy to throw in a free lesson to cut my babies hooves, just because they knew and respected my farmer wage. And that is worth its weight in gold. DR. c. Took his time with ALL of my animals. Carefully inspecting them as if they were his own. I have never met a vet that did that. I will forever be going to Urban, and it’s even more comforting that they will take time out of their day to answer my anxiety ridden questions, and comfort me by saying “you just care ! And that’s what we want for your animals too! “ Affordable, professional, and DR. c, and the two lovely girls that were with him for Glassboxes farm visit, will always have a seat at our table.
