Features: Insights from Customer Experiences

The available customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the features and quality of care at Unionville Veterinary Clinic:

  • Positive Experience with Dr. Whitney: One review highly praises Dr. Whitney, describing him as "great" and "the nicest man" who treated their dogs wonderfully. This customer was so satisfied that they drive 1.5 hours to see him and expressed a willingness to travel even further. The staff is also commended as "the BEST!!!"
  • Negative Experience Regarding Diagnostics and Outcome: Another review details a deeply concerning experience where the reviewer's pet, suffering from gastrointestinal issues, was initially recommended for X-rays instead of blood work. The subcutaneous fluid administration is described as ineffective. Despite further treatment, the pet's condition worsened, and a subsequent visit to another clinic revealed the pet was in diabetic shock. Tragically, the pet did not survive. This review strongly criticizes the initial diagnostic approach and the perceived lack of urgency or appropriate testing at Unionville Veterinary Clinic, suggesting that earlier blood work could have led to a different outcome.

These two reviews present significantly different experiences. The positive review emphasizes the personable and caring nature of Dr. Whitney and the staff. In contrast, the negative review raises serious concerns about the diagnostic protocols, the effectiveness of the treatment provided in a particular case, and the overall outcome for the pet.

It is crucial for potential clients to consider these varying experiences when making decisions about their pet's care. Seeking further information and potentially discussing diagnostic and treatment approaches with the clinic may be beneficial.

Excellent team here! Recommended by Thundercats and wasn鈥檛 disappointed. Mikhelia was so kind and patient with all my noob-level kitten questions and got me in promptly for a stray kitten checkup. The vet couldn鈥檛 have been nicer and also welcomed my questions & concerns about the stray kitty. They helped me with follow-up questions and food too. Vet visit and service prices are very reasonable! 10/10 recommend. Top notch service and care from great ladies who genuinely care about our furry buds 馃惐馃挄

Always love the way they take care of us. We have 4 dogs, a flock of geese, and a flock of sheep. We walk in and get quick consults and always give us everything we need. Called one morning and the vet even came out within the hour to see our lambs. Great clinic and they have very good pricing. Update: Always takes amazing care of us no matter the situation. Absolutely recommend to anyone with animals or livestock

Had to sadly say goodbye to my 19 year old cat a week ago. The clinic was so very sweet and even sent us a last paw print. We are so very thankful for them
