Ukrainian Village Veterinary Center

I have an elderly pup who always receives the best love and care at Ukrainian Village Vet. I spent a long time searching for the best vet when I moved to Chicago in June and have been extremely satisfied. My dog receives a monthly injection for her arthritis and the staff are always responsive, warm, and compassionate. I am incredibly gracious to have found this practice and would recommend it without hesitation.

Dr. Butenko and everyone at the practice are the best! *8/29/2024: I just had to add on to my original review—my senior cat passed away today and I was understandably torn up. Dr. Butenko took time out of his day to call me after hours to offer his sympathies over the phone. That level of care is proof of how amazing a vet Dr Butenko and his team are. I couldn’t be more impressed, and I’m so grateful my Mason had such an incredible vet and person caring for him in his old age.

I love this place! Dr. Butenko and his team are communicative and thorough in their care protocol. I have worked in the pet care industry for 15 years and I am impressed with their overall care. It's easy to schedule, great experience while at their office and I love how they check you out in the room: no trying to juggle 2 dogs, other people and animals, wallet, calendar, etc. They are great with nervous dogs and support my existing care & food without trying to push any products. Overall, it is a pleasant experience and I continue to recommend them to friends and clients (who have all loved them). I highly recommend. Catherine

The best! We just had our first visit with Dr. Andrew and had an amazing experience. Even before the visit, the staff were extremely welcoming, communicable, and accommodating. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Dr. Andrew was very patient, kind, and detailed. He made it a point to make sure I was comfortable with the plans/recommendations and answered all my questions. The facility is also very clean! My pups had a blast. Would highly recommend them!

UVVC staff and Dr. Butenko are shining examples of what veterinary care should look like! The waiting room and exam rooms are always clean and peaceful, communications are clear and easy to follow, and most importantly, the quality of care is exemplary. With my very vet-anxious cat, they are always so gentle and make great effort to ensure her stress doesn't turn into distress. This is a team you can absolutely place your full trust in and know that they'll care for your animals just as much as you do. The quality of their services and standards of care are well-worth the price!
