I’ve been a customer for at least around their opening, I had the greatest things to say and recommended others to take their pets there. It seems each I’ve went in the customer service had gotten worse. So bad that I’m choosing to drive over an hour away to get Bravecto for my pets, which is a lot cheaper than purchasing it in my own home town. I just went back today to try to give a second chance because I needed medicine for a new cat, and I could just feel the woman’s rude superiority. She may have uttered 3 words while I was making my purchase. Just an overall bad experience. If a person makes a choice to work with the public they should be required to have a good attitude.

Twin Lakes Veterinary Services Introduce

Welcome to Twin Lakes Veterinary Services, your dedicated Pet Hospital located at 1489 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633, USA. As a vital part of the local community, we understand the deep bond you share with your animal companions and are committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care to ensure their health and well-being. At Twin Lakes Veterinary Services, we strive to be your trusted partner in every aspect of your pet's life, offering a range of services within a comfortable and professional environment.

As a full-service Pet Hospital, Twin Lakes Veterinary Services caters to a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and even larger animals like sheep, as mentioned by one of our valued clients. Our team is dedicated to offering a broad spectrum of veterinary services to address the diverse needs of your pets. Whether you require routine check-ups and vaccinations to maintain your pet's preventive health, or more specialized medical or surgical interventions, our experienced professionals are here to provide expert care.

While specific details about the clinic's environment are not explicitly provided in the reviews, a professional and clean setting is a standard expectation for any reputable Pet Hospital. We aim to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for both you and your pet. Our facilities are equipped to handle various medical procedures, and we continuously strive to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for all our patients.

The services offered at Twin Lakes Veterinary Services are diverse, aiming to cover a wide array of your pet's healthcare needs. These typically include:

  • Preventive Care: This cornerstone of animal health includes routine wellness exams, vaccinations tailored to your pet's lifestyle and risk factors, parasite prevention (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), and nutritional counseling to ensure your pet maintains a healthy weight and diet.
  • Diagnostics: When your pet is unwell, accurate diagnosis is crucial. While the reviews don't detail specific diagnostic equipment, a standard Pet Hospital would typically offer services such as laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams), and potentially imaging services like X-rays to help identify the underlying cause of illness.
  • Medical Treatment: Our veterinarians are skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, from common ailments to more complex diseases. We are equipped to provide medication, supportive care, and develop treatment plans tailored to your pet's individual needs.
  • Surgical Services: Depending on the clinic's capabilities, surgical services may range from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more advanced soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries. It is advisable to contact the clinic directly for specific surgical offerings.
  • Emergency Care: While one review mentioned potential limitations in immediate emergency appointments, it's important to understand the clinic's protocols for urgent situations. Calling ahead in an emergency is always recommended to understand the best course of action.
  • Dental Care: Maintaining good oral health is vital for your pet's overall well-being. Many veterinary hospitals offer dental services such as teeth cleaning, dental examinations, and treatment of dental diseases.
  • Prescription Medications and Supplies: As indicated in one review regarding Bravecto, the clinic likely offers a range of prescription medications and other pet care products for purchase.

Based on the customer reviews, Twin Lakes Veterinary Services exhibits several notable features. The veterinary service itself is consistently praised as "excellent," with one long-term customer highlighting their care for a diverse range of animals, including dogs, sheep, and cats. The kindness, friendliness, and respectfulness of the staff are also repeatedly mentioned as positive attributes. This suggests a team that is genuinely caring and dedicated to providing a positive experience for both pet owners and their animals.

Another mentioned feature is the relative ease of scheduling appointments, with the possibility of being seen within a few days for routine matters. While emergency appointments might have a slightly longer wait time depending on the situation, the willingness to accommodate potential emergencies is a positive aspect.

However, the reviews also provide some areas for consideration. One customer expressed concerns about declining customer service at the front desk over time, culminating in a recent negative experience. Another customer noted the practice of taking animals to the back for exams and treatments, preferring the owner to be present for comfort. While this may be standard procedure in some clinics, it's a point of preference for some pet owners.

Regarding promotional information, none was explicitly provided in the reviews. However, as a local Pet Hospital aiming to serve the Monticello community, Twin Lakes Veterinary Services may periodically offer promotions or special packages for certain services. It is always a good idea to inquire directly with the clinic about any current offers or wellness plans that could provide cost savings on routine care.

In conclusion, Twin Lakes Veterinary Services in Monticello, KY, appears to be a Pet Hospital committed to providing excellent veterinary care for a variety of animals. The positive feedback regarding the quality of treatment and the kindness of the veterinary staff highlights their dedication to animal health. While some concerns were raised about front desk customer service and examination procedures, the core veterinary services seem to be well-regarded by their clientele. For local users in Monticello and the surrounding areas, Twin Lakes Veterinary Services offers a potentially reliable option for your pet care needs. We encourage you to contact them directly at (606) 753-0361 or +1 606-753-0361 to learn more about their specific services, environment, and any current promotions they may be offering. Visiting the clinic in person may also help you assess whether it aligns with your expectations for your pet's healthcare.

The veterinary service that you receive at Twin Lakes veterinary, service is excellent. We have four dogs we have sheep. We have cats and they take care of all of them. I’ve gone to some vets where the prices are higher and some where the prices are lower; so I guess their prices are competitive, at least not so high that I’ve run off to find a new vet. Making appointments is relatively easy and typically they can get you in within a few days. Looking to get in with a possible emergency situation or what you consider might be an emergency situation they might get in a few days. They do take your animals into the back while they’re doing the exam and treatments and your left waiting in. I guess we’ll call it the waiting room. I would much prefer as most vets I’ve been to in the past possibly even all of them that they do the exams and give the shots and everything with you right there in the room so you can give your family member some comfort so they’re not as scared. Again, the treatment and the people there are very kind, friendly and respectful . The front desk gets a little, I guess I’ll say complicated times but, they get the job done.

I have been visiting this clinic since the very beginning. I have never had better service anywhere else. They are a very welcoming and friendly team. Doctor Sullivan is doing a great job with a lot of patience and knowledge. We are very successful with big and small work done with our animals. We love this place and the girls who work there. They have very affordable prices and quality work. This is the best vet clinic in our small city. We need you!!!

Do not go here… I called the emergency line Saturday night because my dog had been hit and was in need of a vet asap. I could not get through to her on the emergency line, and I called it a few times. I was able to get her personal number (not thinking anything of it) when she gave me a call back off a no caller ID, she never asked how my dog was and was only concerned how I got her personal number. “I’m not available. I would like to know how you got my personal number and I would recommend going to Richmond.” My cousin had a similar experience with her as well. She was unable to get through to the emergency line and called a few times. The vet never called her back Monday either. Don’t be a vet if you don’t care about animals!!
