Dr. Jung and his team went above and beyond every step of the way as we navigated our bud's many dental issues. From the kindness of the front desk, to the support team keeping us updated throughout surgery, to Dr. Jung's patient explanation of the procedure, we were so grateful and relieved. The location is easily accessible and the space is beautiful but most importantly, the care that both the dog and his owners received was simply wonderful.

And the team is super friendly and professional. Thank y’all so much!! My cat had her tooth extraction surgery and root canal therapy done at the clinic. During our first consultation, Dr. Jung gave us an extremely thorough explanation of the fractured canine and other dental issues. They also have anesthesiologist on site, so we decided to schedule the surgery right away. Midway through the first surgery, Dr. Jung called us to inform us that my cat was experiencing an irregular heartbeat. He immediately stopped the procedure and recommended that we get an echocardiogram to rule out any heart problems. He quickly arranged for a specialist to come to the clinic the following week for the tests. Thankfully, the results came back normal, and Dr. Jung explained that this allowed the anesthesiologist to change the anesthesia plan for the next surgery. The second surgery went smoothly! Dr. Jung initially said that if Rosé didn’t handle the anesthesia well again, they would skip the root canal and just extract the canine. But in the end, everything went well and my cat recovered well from her surgery.

Dr Jung and his team are outstanding and I highly recommend them. Here’s why: They were extremely prompt. We initially reached out to three board certified doctors upon getting some troubling news from our primary vet. Dr Jung met with us within days, while we were still waiting for phone calls back from others. Dr. Jung did a great job walking us through the most likely prognosis in a way that I could understand. Once results came back from the lab, he clearly laid out alternatives for our dog’s surgery and the pros and cons of each so a decision could be made with as much confidence as possible. Their facility is nice. Exceptionally clean and the opposite of what you’d expect walking into most places in NYC. His staff is terrific. Very professional and personable. Their office checked in with us on several occasions post op. Our dog was very happy within days of what was a pretty major surgery.

Dr. Jung is the BEST! My dog fractured her tooth a few months back when he was still practicing in New Jersey. He was incredibly patient with my dog, Bubbles, who has severe white coat syndrome - LOL. He sat on the ground and made her feel comfortable, and completed his exam while sitting on the floor with her. It was obvious how comfortable Bubbles felt with Dr. Jung, so I knew when it was time to have her tooth taken care of, he was the only person I would trust with her care. We traveled in to the city to see him and I am so grateful he was able to save her tooth and successfully repair it. He and his assistant communicated everything to me throughout the procedure and Bubbles is thriving now. Highly highly highly recommend, thank you Dr. Jung & team! Big smiles from Bubbles!

I took my 12.5 year old Brussels Griffon to see Dr Jung at Tribeca Veterinary Dentistry yesterday and we had such a positive experience. First of all the space is stunning, not at all clinical and cold, it was beautiful, warm and inviting. The receptionist and vet tech were so incredibly friendly and welcoming. When we met Dr Jung he was beyond kind and communicative. He took so much time explaining all that was going on with Fallon's dental health. Including drawings, showing me how canine oral hygiene affects the nasal cavity, explaining the importance of extractions that had happened back in '18 at another clinic, etc. He was so great with her too, she was so happy there and she really took to him immediately and she wasn't scared at all which is unusual for her in new doctors offices. It was clear that Dr Jung is a big animal and dog person himself. He is so highly specialized and has a full time anesthesiologist which is so very important, especially if you have a dog with underlying conditions with things like trachea or heart issues. We are really lucky to finally have such a specialized private practice dental clinic for dogs here in NYC. Everyone needs to know about Dr Jung and his great clinic.
