The staff was very pleasant and welcoming to us when we came in! The lobby and property is very well set up to access despite road work being present. Overall a very nice set up. The reason for the star loss is simple. The vet was motivated to make money. She made a call for us to get cheaper help, which was decent, but still made me borrow $65 from my 15 year old to tell me this information. When she learned how bankrupt my family was, I feel she should have referred us to the Humane Society first and simply told us she can’t help us if we don’t have money instead of collecting the visiting fee. I don’t even make $65 a day and I saw this practice make over $750 in the hour I was there. I had over 10 dogs to care for and have to accept donations just to feed them and I was practically begging everyone to spay this rescued animal so we don’t get yet another litter of puppies! When I adopted her, she was pregnant already and I didn’t know. I spent over $12,000 rescuing a whole litter of giant Mastiffs that I didn’t plan or know about. I just feel like this vet could care a little more about the people who rescue and rehab animals. Because most of the time, we don’t get paid.

Jun 07, 2023 · Vivid VioletI had to sadly drive here in the middle of the night to have my dog euthanized because he was suffering from cluster seizures that we believe was due to a cancerous brain tumor. We were the only ones in there with a technician and the doctor. The two sweet ladies were very patient with me as I had to say goodbye to my precious Newman. We called ahead to let them know that we were coming and they prepared the area with a blanket waiting on the table to put him on which I thought was a very endearing touch considering the urgency of needing him put down. Highly recommend if needing a place to put your sweet baby to sleep.
Oct 25, 2024 · Mary SochackiThey're TERRIBLE, I thought they were GREAT but they're a wolf in sheep's clothing. Beware!!! If you LOVE your fur baby, do NOT take them there!!! My dog is quite sick, actually got even sicker AFTER coming home from them - urinating blood kind of sick. Then after prescribing an antibiotic (which wound up not agreeing w/ her days later, I could NOT get a hold of ANY of the staff!! Office #, cell # NOTHING) I left several nice msgs but then found out from calling ANOTHER Vet hospital that they're gone until AFTER the holidays & left EVERYBODY high & dry i guess!! I mean, she leaves me waiting on a test to see if my dog has cancer, I'm freaking out, she's not acting right & I hear NOTHING from them. I'm DISGUSTED!!!
Dec 27, 2024 · Debra MarieTreasure Coast Animal Emergency went above and beyond in their care for my cat Midnight during a recent emergency. After being missing for three days, Midnight returned in poor condition with severe injuries. His tail was almost severed, his back legs appeared broken, and he had scratches and wounds. Despite the distressing situation, the receptionist was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and informative, demonstrating genuine concern for Midnight's well-being. The doctors and nurses at Treasure Coast Animal Hospital were equally remarkable. They provided exceptional care not only for Midnight but also for me during this difficult time. Their compassion and professionalism were evident, as they treated us with the utmost care and respect, ensuring that Midnight received the best possible treatment. I was grateful that they didn't treat us like just another case but instead showed genuine care and empathy. Their expertise and dedication were evident throughout the entire process, and I highly recommend them for any pet emergency or as primary veterinarians. Thank you, Treasure Coast Animal Hospital, for your outstanding care and support during this traumatic experience.
Apr 21, 2024 · Nikki DawsonThankful for credit cards and the doctors of this emergency vet hospital. We almost lost our precious 1 year old British lab to Lepto. If it wasnt for the fast acting staff and doctors at Treasure Coast we would have. When our playful pup just laid in bed we called to ask for advice since it was Saturday and our regular vet was closed. They convinced us to come in and lucky for Duke we did. He stayed for three days hooked up to IVs and getting tested. We were able to visit him which made us less worried. Hopefully we never need a vet ER again. But, we know a great one if we ever do. Thank you so much.
