We first discovered Doctor Tran at least 25 years ago. We had a St. Bernard who had to have an infected paw treated. Our regular Vet at the time removed a nail on the paw and butchered it so badly the the infection had spread to the point that the likely outcome would have been amputation of the entire paw. With the dog in agony, we had no where else to turn and took her to Dr. Tran in the middle of the night. He saw her right away and began a holistic treatment regime, including natural antibiotics and Noni juice (which we had never heard of). Within weeks, the paw was completely healed! Fast forward 25 years, we now have a Boxer who somehow injured his eye (ulcerated cornea) that had become badly infected. We tried multiple Vets, all without a bit of success. Not only did the issue fail to get better, it progressively worsened. We had been referred to an Ophthalmologist, who couldn't see him for 6 weeks UNLESS we were willing to pony-up an EXTRA $400 (which would magically open a slot in the schedule). We were both disgusted by the apparent greed in putting money over the well-being of an injured sick animal. At the end of our rope one day, my wife said "Remember Dr Tran?... I wish HE were still around!" I expected him to be long gone by now, but a quick Google search showed amazingly he is still practicing in the same place! We took our Boxer in that very night. Dr Tran quickly diagnosed the issue. It did require extensive treatment, including surgery (and more natural medicines). Over the course of the next 3 weeks, we returned for follow up visits (and were never charged). The sutures were eventually removed and his eye was completely healed. Dr Tran and Mauri (his assistant for over 40 years) work well together and compliment each other. His 60 years of practical experience and no-nonsence approach is balanced well with her empathy and understanding. In a time where with most Vets, you get a kid firing questions while typing your answers into a computer to devise a treatment plan (while almost talking down to you), it's reassuring to put your trust in someone with his decades of practical experience. He'll straight up tell you like it is, but won't hesitate to administer an injection for fast-acting relief, or balance natural and pharmaceutical drugs (or even surgical procedures) to return your pet back to his/her normal happy self. The fact that he's open 7-days a week (and late at night), and will not charge follow-up office visit fees is an added-bonus, and demonstrated to us that he cares more about the animal's welfare than he does about the money. While the treatment on the Boxer was by no means "cheap", it was a fraction of what the cost would have likely been with the Opthamologist (even before the "how much you got?" style approach of the extra $400 mentioned above). I cannot recommend Dr Tran and Mauri highly enough, and would not hesitate returning with my pets in the future. He's been around an exceedingly long time, and I hope he can continue for many years to come. Quite simply, we need more Vets in the world like him.

Aug 04, 2024 · Faith BeginningDO NOT GO HERE Does not do any type of testing on your animal to see what is wrong only guesses. If I wouldn’t of left here in immediately took in my cat to another emergency room it would have died immediately. This doctor also does not sanitize, and the medicine he gave my cat was for horses. If you come here, your animal die. He told me my cat had an asthma, and my cat was dying of heart failure.
Mar 09, 2024 · Melana HottTook my precious pregnant fluffy French bulldog to be seen for vomiting. Meanwhile he gave her some medicine that forced her into labor two weeks before a c section. He advised to let her have the pups natural because she had one already before I got there. His practice is not recommended. All my pups died and my dog developed some inflammation in her breast, which prevent it her babies from feeding. Yes, I blame whatever medication was used at that time! He was also Not welcoming No polite, not polite. The assistant could be a better doctor than him
Jul 22, 2024 · Donte SweeneyMy nearly-14-YO greyhound suffered a catastrophic medical event yesterday. For the first time in 25 years of adopting greyhounds I was unable to find a vet available to come to our home and help her pass. I was aware of Dr. Tran and Mari through an acquaintance. We took her there on a Saturday night. Mari patiently helped me over the phone to find their office. The office was very clean and organized. The restroom was spotless. Dr. Tran and Mari were both extraordinarily kind to us and to my girl. They came out to our vehicle to administer the medications and I was able to be with her and hold onto her. After she passed away they were respectful of her body. I heard Mari talking to her. Dr. Tran sedated her first at my request. They arranged for her to be picked up by the crematory at my request. This clinic was available to me at a time when I was desperate to ease my girl’s suffering. I could not have asked for more in the way of kindness and competence. I’m very grateful.
