I researched every vet in Texas, and all of that research, thankfully led me to Dr. David Allman. He performed TPLO on my dog Hank in July 2021. I just walked and swam with Hank on the beach. I cannot say enough about how great he is. Every aspect of the process was seamless. Thank goodness I took my dog here. Thank you!!!!

As a specialized veterinary care provider within the broader category of Pet Hospitals, we focus on delivering exceptional medical and surgical services for your beloved animal companions. While our name highlights our expertise in Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery, a crucial procedure for addressing cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries (often referred to as ACL in humans) in dogs, our commitment extends to comprehensive pet health and well-being.
At TPLO Austin, we understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family. We strive to create a comfortable and reassuring environment for both you and your furry friend. Our core service revolves around the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions in pets, with a particular emphasis on TPLO surgery. Beyond TPLO surgery, as a comprehensive Pet Hospital, we offer a range of related services to support your pet's journey to recovery and overall health. This may include thorough pre-surgical evaluations, advanced pain management protocols, and detailed post-operative care instructions. We understand that the recovery period after TPLO surgery is crucial, and we are committed to providing you with the guidance and support you need to ensure a successful outcome for your pet.

Mia's full recovery, allowing her to run and play without a limp, speaks volumes about the quality of care provided at TPLO Austin.
These real customer reviews underscore several key features of TPLO Austin: surgical expertise, particularly in TPLO procedures; a commitment to clear communication and patient support throughout the entire process; and a focus on achieving successful recovery and improved quality of life for pets. The availability of a dedicated communication channel, such as a texting line, demonstrates our understanding of the anxieties and questions that can arise during a pet's surgical recovery and our proactive approach to addressing them.

Jul 31, 2022 · Julianne Watts BuchananWe discovered our dog Mia needed TPLO surgery (ACL) in October 2021 and proceeded with the surgery that month. We are now in February 2022 and Mia is fully recovered! She’s running and playing with dogs like she was before, no limp or anything. Dr Allman and his team we’re great, I love how they had a dedicated texting line for questions because the first couple weeks of recovery is intense and I had a lot of questions lol. Highly recommend him for TPLO surgery!
