Feb 16, 2025 · Michelle VazquezI don't know where to start now that I have had time to process everything. I had been taking my girl, Julie, a 13 year old Calico there for checkups. I took her in for some dental work and signed off on extractions. If she needed them, then she should get them. Well, she had 9 teeth extracted. One thing I want to point out is that Julie was adopted from a shelter after being a stray cat for years. She had some issues with getting touched and yes, she was a feisty cat. So she did not do well with pills but she does well with taking injections. I mentioned and asked if they had anything I could administer via syringe for the pain and was sent home with pills. It was hard getting her to take them. She did not eat for the first couple of days and I called the office and magically, they gave me some syringes to help with the pain. After sending me home with pills when I said she did not do well with them. All this time they had syringes?! She did not eat still and I called again, concerned. They said they could give her an appetite stimulant. I said she would not do well with pills, but alas, I was given more pills. I called again after day of her not eating and told to give her the pills. I mentioned she was wheezing and had an eye that was slightly closed and was told that it was most likely irritation from the surgery and anesthesia. I once again decided to trust the Townline, but I was worried about her not eating but if the vet wasn't concerned, then why would I? That was my mistake. Trusting the vet. What I did get, was an appointment for her TWO WEEK checkup for her extractions. My stupid self, yes I am stupid for not acting sooner, let a few more days before I said this isn't in any way NORMAL. It has been a week and my cat has not eaten. I took her to a second vet and this vet told me that while it was normal for cats not to eat after tooth extractions, that it had been a long time and she would need to have a feeding tube because as a diabetic cat, she needed to eat and have her insulin shots. They said they could do an appetite stimulant and I mentioned to them how my cat does not do well with pills. This vet gave me a stimulant that was rubbed in the cat ear, which I'm wondering why I was not given that in the first place by Townline? The second vet said, if she does not eat take her to a specialty. She needs to eat. I took her to emergency services where I explained what had been happening and was told that was not good. She needed to eat. They mentioned possible organ failure from not eating that long, something I was never told at Towline. She also had high ketones. She was admitted and the vets at the ER took action right away, showing more concern in those ten minutes I was there, than the other place. She stayed overnight and showed some improvement. Unfortunately, on the second day I got a dreaded call at 10PM that my cat had developed a heart murmur. Six hours later I was told she was going into heart failure and it would be best to put her to rest to avoid suffering. I had to rush to the hospital and find my poor bay girl Julie, having trouble breathing and on her last run. I had to put her down. When ten days before, she had been fine. She had been running around being the feisty girl that she was, and then ten days later, she had to be put to rest. My girl did not have to go through that. When I mentioned it had been three days since she had eaten, I don't even know anymore. I was so stupid to even listen. I blame myself for this, but I was so dumb to keep calling and thinking that if they didn't show concern, then it was nothing to worry about. It feels like the only time they showed concern or were attentive was when they were setting up the extraction. Once I paid and she was out of there, oh well. They got the money and she was out of there. Good luck to you. Meanwhile, I had to pay an additional $7k to take her to the ER. Which, whatever, money comes and goes but my cat is now gone.

Dec 14, 2024 · D KGreat service! We are always able to get an appointment when needed. My poor Aurora had a cyst on her neck. Cleaned her up, meds and on our way we go. Love that they always suggest the simplest solution first.
May 07, 2022 · Evelyn JimenezWe had just moved to the area in June of 2023. We were worried about finding a vet as we really liked the one we had before we moved. We found Townline doing a google search. We took our dog here in September as he had a cut on his back. Dr. Singh took care of him and explained what the cut could be and answered any questions we had. My gf and I were so nervous it was something bad and Dr Singh assured us he was going to be okay and he was, turned out the be nothing. Our dog got sick later in 2023, Dr. Singh ran some tests and sent us to an ER to do further testing on our dog. It turned out her suspicions were right and he had Hemangiosarcoma. They suspected he didn’t have long and we were advised to keep him comfortable. It was so sudden and out of the blue. We were devastated. Dr. Singh was always checking in with us even when the office was closed and was willing to answer any questions we had daily. She gave us her personal cell and assured us to reach out whenever with any questions about his condition that day. It’s hard finding a vet because as a dog owner you put your trust in this person to be able to tell you what’s wrong with your animal. You want a vet to care for your animal as much as you do. Dr. Singh is defiantly that person. When our dog passed she sent us a card signed by her team and they all wrote a message about our boy. She truly cared for him and as a pet owner that’s all you can ask for. She is not only a great veterinarian but a great human being.
