This often includes separate waiting areas for different types of animals, comfortable examination rooms, and advanced medical equipment to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
As a full-service Pet Hospital, Town & Country Small Animal Hospital offers a wide array of veterinary services to address various aspects of your pet's health. These services generally encompass preventative care, diagnostics, medical treatments, and surgical procedures. Preventative care is paramount in maintaining your pet's long-term health and typically includes routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite control (such as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention), and nutritional counseling. These regular visits allow our veterinary professionals to monitor your pet's overall health, detect potential issues early, and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
In the event that your pet requires diagnostic services, a well-equipped Pet Hospital like Town & Country Small Animal Hospital would typically offer various tools and technologies to aid in accurate diagnosis. These may include laboratory services for blood work, urinalysis, and other tests; imaging techniques such as digital radiography (X-rays) to visualize internal structures; and potentially ultrasound for more detailed examination of soft tissues and organs. These diagnostic capabilities are crucial for identifying the underlying causes of illness or injury and developing appropriate treatment plans.
For medical treatments, our experienced veterinarians and support staff are equipped to handle a wide range of health conditions. These can include routine surgeries such as spaying and neutering, as well as more complex soft tissue surgeries and potentially orthopedic procedures. The safety and well-being of your pet during surgery are our top priorities, and we adhere to strict surgical protocols and utilize anesthesia monitoring equipment to ensure their comfort and safety.
While the provided reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the experiences of pet owners at Town & Country Small Animal Hospital, it's important to consider all feedback when making decisions about your pet's care. One review highlights positive aspects such as helpful staff, thorough follow-up, and a feeling of being heard and having your pet in good hands. This suggests that some clients have experienced compassionate and attentive care at the clinic.
Conversely, another review presents a negative experience, citing concerns about handling practices, perceived roughness, and a lack of owner presence during examinations. This feedback raises important considerations regarding communication, patient comfort, and the overall approach to animal handling. It is essential for pet owners to feel comfortable and confident in their chosen veterinary care provider.
It's worth noting that individual experiences can vary, and online reviews represent a snapshot of opinions. When choosing a Pet Hospital, it is often beneficial to consider multiple sources of information, including online reviews, recommendations from friends or other pet owners, and potentially a preliminary visit to the clinic to assess the environment and interact with the staff. Nov 28, 2024 · Michelle CoxThis vet is actually the worst vet I have ever been to. I have a 6 lb 4 month old mini golden doodle, sweetest dog, she has never gotten aggressive or uncompliant. I was originally going to healing paws in springfield mo, amazing vets, they give lots of treats they make sure the animals feel comfortable and they care a lot about their patients. I had someone recommend me to Melissa Smith, she said she paid $60 for her dogs shots apparently that is just for rabies. So I schedule an appointment and they don’t even let u be with your pet, they were so rough with her hanging her over the door talking to me had no care in the world. They then proceeded to hold her down and scrape her skin where she was developing a tiny rash, they were even going to MUZZLE her. My poor baby was SCREAMING and then they said she needed RESTRAINMENT TRAINING. ARE U F-Ing kidding me??!! she’s barely 4 months old she has NEVER been held down and had her skin SCRAPED. If you hold down any human being and did something painful to them they would cry too. When Melissa noticed i was unhappy she started to get an attitude. I am so glad it’s over. Never coming here again. Don’t bring your animal here if you care for them.
Dec 27, 2024 · Shyan HearodMelissa is a wonderful vet, I love that my animals love going to her and love the care she gives them. I have used her for 7+ years and never thought about going to another vet. She is family owned and very trust worthy. You can tell she cares about them.
Jun 07, 2021 · Kristin WilsonShe took my Sammy in very quick and made room. Sammy was hurt very badly, and was attacked by pitbulls. But, he is back to being his vocal self. We missed him so much, but Melissa took really good care of him and gave him such great care we were able to bring him home yesterday. We are so greatful for her services, and she was able to get him back to being himself. With lots more healing to do, we have faith, and he's back home to heal with us. Thank you!!
