Topaz Veterinary Clinic

I sincerely wanted to try Topaz for my pets. But when I called I was told there wasn't an appointment for three weeks but to secure an appointment required a $78 deposit. Yes, you read that correctly. To make an appointment you must pay them. It's absolutely absurd. I made an appointment at another vet (no deposit!) for the next day and couldn't be happier. I would take note that the owner and management doesn't respond to critical reviews. That speaks volumes in itself.

Our sweet girl was having some health issues, topaz.. our long time vet clinic was able to get her in the next day, and attended to our concerns quickly and with ease. I’ve been bringing my girl here since she was a little pup and everyone has always been so friendly, it’s affordable and comforting to know our pup is always in good hands.

This is the best clinic I’ve ever taken my pets to. They genuinely care about all animals & are very gentle when handling them. Love these people.

I don’t know how the vet is because they take the pet in the back and you think the vet is going to come in and examine the pet. The only time you see the vet is when they bring the pet back after doing the examination in the back, I do not like that. I want the vet to examine the pet and my presence so if I have any questions or concerns, I can discuss that with the vet. I can get a feel for how the vet does things and watch them with my pet, etc., etc. I’ve never been to a vet that you never see the vet until they come back in with your pet.

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at Topaz. I called in a panic when my heeler stopped eating and drinking for 2 days. The clinic was able to see me same day, performed a battery of tests, and was able to begin treatment immediately. The vet gave me her cell phone number to stay in contact while my pup was on the mend; she texted and called regularly to check in and requested updates from me on his progress. He is fully healed now and I couldn't have kept my cool without the doctor's reassurance. The employees at Topaz are well aware that veterinary services can be an unexpected expense. They discuss in detail the cost for any procedures with the customer before moving forward. I really appreciated this; although the tests my dog needed were expensive at least it wasn't a surprise. The doctor was also willing to discuss possible alternative treatments if the cost was prohibitive.
