Our 11-year-old Olde English Bulldog had been having seizures through the night and we knew he was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. We called our vet (won’t name it here) and they were rude and could not get him in for hours. From the moment we called Toledo Blade Animal Clinic, we were treated with respect and they could get him in quickly. Upon walking in, he began having a seizure, the tech scooped him up and started an IV to give him meds to help him. This staff is professional, caring, and made this difficult time a little bit easier. When I am ready to have another dog, this office will be our vet home! Thank you to all of the staff.

Called to book first appt , and she says I'm going to need a $63.00 deposit before you even come in. I started saying I will certainly pay and she hung up and said have a good day. I can just imagine what great care you would get go elsewhere.

My dog was seen here and I do have to say that I was seconds away from euthanizing my 7 year old Chihuahua. The vet did the quickest exam I ever seen in my nearly 50 years of pet ownership. She was quick to push euthanization and even said a steroid at this point was a waste of time. Once I insisted on trying set up the appointment for the next day. They did tell my boyfriend the only chance would be MRI and a surgery she might not survive. After a while I think I seen an improvement. So we found a wonderful pet er in Gainesville . They had a 24 hour neurologist and MRI. Drove 4 hours to hear my Mimi wasn't only not a candidate for euthanize but a MRI was not recommended. My visit was even less expensive than the cost of euthanize. So think twice about this vet with no compassion for animals, quick diagnosis, and pushing euthanization. I'm still in shock I got minutes away from putting my baby down. In response to your response. I did not have a budget to save my dog, if that was the case I would not have drove 4 hours to an emergency neurologist, I was even expecting an MRI .. that option you gave us..(that the neurologist said was not needed) No other suggestions where suggested by your office besides I was wasting time with the steroid and it is "inhumane to let my dog suffer all weekend" yes exact words your office used. Tell me how that is not pushing me to euthanization? I've shown all friends, family and co workers videos of Mimi's progress. She is definitely not suffering or showing signs of even being sick! Plus I noticed this is the second negative review you tried to pull out a financial issue on the pet owners. Which is definitely not the case here. I have also seen 20 minute allowance for exams. So if people read more of your own response to some of the negative reviews. They will even see your vets lack of compassion. My multiple options through your office included wasting my time at this point with steroids, spending access of 20000$ for surgery's/ MRI/ neurologist, or euthanization...suggesting that she probably would not even survive the MRI. Plus as for being the 3rd vet. Not one of them even brought up euthanization. One was an vet er and my normal vet was out of her office for a while. (Having a surgery)

I've been going here for both my cats for a while now after having a really bad experience at another vet, and I'm more than pleased with the service I receive. They genuinely love and take care of animals and are attentive to needs. Thank you
