To give some context: We are brand new to Scottsdale and our tiny little 17-year old dog Oliver had a really bad night one of our first nights in our new home. The original emergency vet we visited in the middle of the night told us to euthanize him! We got out of there in a hurry and the next morning we found a fantastic emergency vet clinic in the North end of Scottsdale that referred us to Thrive, since Thrive has a Cardiology department and they don’t. The staff at Thrive met us with open arms and made sure that Oliver had the best care possible from incredibly professional, knowledgeable and compassionate doctors. They did all the necessary tests and found that Oliver had some small issues that could be treated with mild medicine and plenty of rest and love. We came to Thrive with our 15.5 yo dachshund in respiratory distress. We received top notched care from a team of dedicated vet specialists and vet techs. We still don’t have a definitive diagnosis but they stabilized our pet enough for us to drive home to California. Dr. Chappell and her team are the best. My 14-year-old Norwegian Forest cat was treated for a dire kidney infection. He is now home recovering in good fashion. The care and compassion at Thrive is unmatched. Our dog Fenny was so well taken care of and everyone we came in contact with was so kind and gentle. The facility is beautiful and everyone is professional. The team kept in good contact with us all throughout our dog’s procedure and Dr Adams took the time to thoroughly explain all his findings and recommendations. I also happened to arrive early to our appointment and from the car watched a team of people working outside with a German Shepard recovering from surgery. It was so moving and I could see how much everyone cared. I could tell we’d be in good hands. I hope we won’t need emergency or specialty services again but if we do, Thrive is the place I will bring our beloved animals.

My dog needs surgery that is beyond our regular vets ability. She gave us a list of surgical providers to pick from. Our Oncologist recommended Dr Radlinski at Thrive in Scottsdale on 83rd street. She got us an appointment for the next morning. The consultation went well and we decided to have the surgery done there. I was impressed by how fast we got an appointment. Other providers I had called could not see us for a consult until the following month.
