Thrive Pet Healthcare - Sicklerville

Updated on 1/6/25: I left a voicemail message before they opened on 12/26 because my cat was experiencing some ear issues (brown discharge, inflammation, and bleeding). I didn't hear back from them a few hours later, so I called again and received an automated message that they were closed due to a hospital emergency. I didn't hear back from them the next day, so I opted to make an appointment with another local vet. My cat was seen by the new vet. on Monday, 12/30/24. It went very well and I was satisfied with the treatment and follow-up. I received a voicemail message from Thrive a little over a week after my initial call to them (1/4/25). Although the staff there is great, I feel like they dropped the ball on this one. I don't believe that it was unreasonable for me to expect a return call sooner than over a week after I called for an appointment. My pet was not a new patient, he had been going there for about a year. Very disappointing. ********************************************************** A shoutout to Thrive Pet Healthcare - Sicklerville. My cat, Braxton Leo Young started going there earlier this year. He recently had some skin/itching issues. After being properly treated with medications, he’s on the mend and feeling better. Dr. Connington and the staff there are the best!💜

As a new client, recently moved to the area, I wanted to share my experiences at Thrive Pet Healthcare - Sicklerville. Milo had his annual exam and immunizations in July. The staff was very kind and caring and thorough. They really make an effort to connect with the animals, and got down on the floor to get to know him before his exam. Zoey had her annual exam a few weeks ago and Dr Connington was so sweet with her. He sat on the floor talking to her and petting her and even did her exam on the floor rather than putting her up on the table. We found she had two broken teeth and needed extractions. I was very anxious about the procedure because of her history with IVDD and ruptured disks in her spine and was concerned about how her body would be handled and support to her spine while under anesthesia. Very pleased with the treatment we received, something often overlooked when providing a service. The staff was delightful and the office was super clean. Everyone was gentle and sweet to Nino. He’s a 10 month old and is socially awkward, terrified of strangers. He was coached by cheese on the wall near the scale to get weighted. Everyone was very professional from the phone call to the end of office visit. I called yesterday, was given an appointment today, I never mentioned my frustration with the situation with another vet office. It was helpful that they honored the online coupon for the free new patient visit. All because the office I normally delta with is totally difficult, unprofessional and rude. It’s clear they don’t want my money or care about the patient. “Thank you to the staff at Sicklerville Thrive!”

Dr Connington and nurse Elaine were great with my rowdy aussie who had a toe injury. I appreciated the conservative approach and they were all very kind and efficient from appointment start to finish.

Thrive Pet Healthcare is wonderful. I’d give them 10 stars if could. Very attentive, communicative and supportive. Everyone from the doctors and nurses to the front desk staff is super helpful and friendly and just genuinely a pleasure to interact with. You can ask a hundred questions and they’re just as happy to answer the 100th question as they were to answer the first; and 0/100 of them are treated as ‘silly questions’. As a first time pet owner, that really goes a long way. Highly recommend. Thank you, Thrive!
