The 2 stars are for affordable prices. But you get what you pay for. The staff is rude and not friendly to me or my dog. Front desk has an attitude and when they take you back they don’t say more than 2 words. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are on a tight budget and don’t really care about your pet.

- "This vet has terrible communication. We scheduled an appointment for a dental cleaning for our dog. After MULTIPLE miscommunications via phone and texts, we finally brought her in for the appointment and the ladies at the counter told us that we shouldn't follow the instructions in the texts, those are just sent out automatically."
- "A few hours after dropping our dog off, we got a phone call telling us that they PULLED OUT HER TEETH and want to pull out more at a later date. No one told us that they were going to pull out her teeth! Not that morning, not at previous appointments, not at any time had we been informed of this."

Nov 20, 2024 · Taryn CoonThis vet has terrible communication. We scheduled an appointment for a dental cleaning for our dog. After MULTIPLE miscommunications via phone and texts, we finally brought her in for the appointment and the ladies at the counter told us that we shouldn't follow the instructions in the texts, those are just sent out automatically. A few hours after dropping our dog off, we got a phone call telling us that they PULLED OUT HER TEETH and want to pull out more at a later date. No one told us that they were going to pull out her teeth! Not that morning, not at previous appointments, not at any time had we been informed of this. We brought her in for a teeth cleaning, not for them to pull any teeth from her mouth WITHOUT asking for consent first! We didn't even get the chance to get a second opinion! The veterinarian insisted that they "only pulled four tiny teeth." Tiny to them apparently mean one of her canine teeth in the real world. The veterinarian also spent the whole time justifying herself and refusing to listen. When we went in to pick up the poor girl that afternoon, they slapped a bill of EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS on us. WITHOUT TELLING US IN ADVANCE! And when we tried to explain our problem with their lack of communication, they handed us our dog's paperwork and told us to find another vet. And no, they didn't take any money off of the bill for us, either. To add insult to injury after all of this, the front desk lady brought out our dog with BLOOD DRIPPING DOWN HER FACE! She was whimpering and bleeding as we walked out of the door. So much for caring about animals, huh?
Jun 28, 2024 · BrowncoatGirlWe enjoy the peace of mind that comes from working with the superbly talented team at TVMC. Whether it’s providing care for our two 15 year old chihuahuas or our 6 month old Maltipoo,9 we know that our beloved furry companions are in good hands.
Nov 13, 2023 · Timothy OverholtDo not take your pets here period..... They do not care about your animals... I brought my 10 week old golden in who ended up having coccidia.. Ok no problem right? After taking her to her first visit with a 90 percent solid stool sample I was given medication for the issue on our first visit. The vets assistant sent me home with 3 liquid syringes to administer to my puppy once each day for 3 days... Mind you these doses were 9ML each. After giving my dog her first dose she had violent diarrhea about an hour after the dose which caused my puppies rectal cavity to prolapse... I called the vet they told me to come in which I did. The vet then handed me a tube of packet you get from a first aid kit and said rub this on it and push it back in.... Well I guess now at this point I a vet... The vet assistant then calls me and says hey my bad it's only supposed to be 3ml each day, the was told it's ok it's not a lethal dose. multiple calls as my dogs rectal cavity is out 4 inches for days they finally take my dog in. Then they call me saying she needs stitches in her rectum to prevent it from happening again... Wow why didn't this happen and take her in 4 days prior.... The OWNER of the ver did not discuss a bill, did not discuss a payment when she told me the dog required surgery... so when my wife went to get our puppy we were handed a bill which I disputed bc of the situation. I was then scolded bc I shouldn't have been frustrated at all during the dispute as they threatened to not give me my pet, which then resulted in me telling them they can't legally do that and will gladly get my dog with the authorities. The receptionist then scolded me again saying any other place would have cost me thousands of dollars which I said I have no issue with that bc when I brought her in the first prolapse they would have taken her in for examination. Knowing she couldn't keep my dog and threatening to I said you can gladly talk with my lawyer regarding the fact you can't hold my dog over a dispute about a bill that happened due to wrong dosage and negligence. She then said now that you mentioned that you can take your dog never come back and there will be no record your dog was ever seen here Nd good luck finding a vet that will touch her or remove the stitches. Sent my puppy home with only a cone, no meds, no discussion of what we can do to help her. Just sent my wife away with our puppy in front of my 9 and 8 year old sons saying it's not thee fault we bought a sick puppy ushering my wife and children out the door. Also my wife was running a little late last closing due the snow we received which added to them when my wife arrived and she was rude. They are supposed to care about animals and you have no problem sending a puppy away with no meds saying good luck when she will need emergency surgery bc she won't have the meds she needs is absolutely bonkers. The assistant vet tech and vet were there and just let the dog go. The absolute worst vet in the state of Michigan hands down, pay attention to the negative reviews bc the good ones are not correct. People are leaving this place in masses and that's why it's so cheap bc the only way they can keep customers is to keep it that way to stay afloat... So if you want to do at home vet care and learn how to be your own vet go here... terrible human beings flat out.
