This summer my elderly tripawd, Patrick, went down hill very quickly and after chasing multiple chronic diagnoses with his regular vet. He struggled to walk, posture to use the bathroom, and was diagnosed with a lower body neuro injury. With only having 1 front leg, surgery was out of the question. We decided tried acupuncture as a last resort and have been faithfully seeing Dr Picking for 4 months now. After just 2 sessions, Patrick could walk easier, posture better, and stabilize himself when he got off balance. He is 100% still here today because of her practice. My only regret is that we didn’t start with her sooner for preventative treatments. If you have an elderly or special needs pet, I highly recommend a visit with her to establish care and work on preventative therapy. I can’t recommend her enough.

I found Dr Picking on google when I was looking for a local rehabilitation place for dogs. My 12 year old Shiba Inu has been doing physical therapy and rehab for her partial CCL tear with Dr Picking for about a month and a half. She has come a long way in such a short amount of time and is making great progress! Dr Picking has been amazing working with Nala, controlling her pain, making her leg stronger, and coming up with ways to make rehab fun yet challenging for her. Nala’s first session was on 12/2. She was unsure about where she was and the environment in general. She also had a slow walk, didn’t put much weight on her left leg and had a slight limp. A month into her rehab, she’s walking faster, putting more weight on her left leg, and her limp is pretty much gone. She has a smile on her face again and she has connected that her therapy place is a safe place for her with lots of love and treats. Dr Picking has started incorporating physical exercises into Nala’s plan like using cavaletti bars, cones, and physical stretching out her knee and hamstrings, which wasn’t possible in the beginning. Nala is now able to stand on an unstable surface (like a mattress) to strengthen her back legs and force her to put weight on them, also not possible even two weeks ago. Nala is now capable of stretching her body forward to grab her treats, which created a full back leg extension, also not possible when she first started. She has come along way and I’m very proud of my little senior pup. she still has a ways to go, but she is making great progress and that’s all I can ask for! This all wouldn’t have been possible without Dr. Picking! She has saved me thousands of dollars working with Nala and using alternative methods which avoided surgery.

When my greyhound was diagnosed with degenerative spinal lumbosacral stenosis, our vet recommended acupuncture. We've been using Dr. Picking for about a year and her treatments have helped so much with pain management. She is so knowledgeable and explains everything as she goes. My dog gets so excited to see her walk in and by the time she's done with the treatment, my dog is so completely relaxed and snoozing. Dr. Picking is so great to work with and we're so glad we found her. Highly recommend!

Mr. Wilson had his first acupuncture appointment with Dr. Picking and it went great! She was slow and patient with him and really paid attention to his body language and response. Mr. Wilson didn’t even seem to notice what has happening but he was definitely left feeling relaxed and happy! I’m so excited about all the wonderful benefits. We can’t wait for the next appointment

Dr Picking has changed my Toothless' life. She is 12 this year. Was once an indoor outdoor wild kitty and that has caused serious wear and tear on her joints. When she started limping I knew we needed to try something new. Dr picking has worked on her for 5 months and the change has been miraculous. Toothless is so excited for her appointments every few weeks. She is more mobile and active than she has been in years. Dr Picking is so knowledgeable what she does and customizes her services to each pet. She's extremely accommodating and charged a fair price. We are so so grateful we found her!!!

Dr. Picking came to our home and the moment she sat on the floor, my senior dog plopped down next to her and started snoring. Her presence alone calmed him within minutes and I knew immediately that she was a good decision! Acupuncture was our next choice for some pain relief in our dog’s neck and he’s already showing improvement in just an hour. We will have Dr. Picking return weekly for this service and if I could give her 100 stars I would. Her knowledge and demeanor are stellar and she’s incredibly gentle. Highly recommend.
