Dr DeLong is thorough, gentle and focused on my dogs’ health. She is solely responsible for giving us about two more years with our beloved Tater Tot. I trust her with both my little dogs - they are neurotic but they do love going to the Village Vet and are treated like the little celebrities they are! From the ease of making an appointment to the very responsive culture that everyone there displays, we are very happy with the care our pups receive!

I am sharing my experience based on someone very dear to me. Consider each and every word from this rating whether you are the hospital's management, staff or a client bringing your pet here! This clinic is beautiful, the reception staff are nice and helpful and the lobby is clean, but behind those closed doors, it is filthy, unsanitary and minimally staffed with people who do not care about the facility, the pets or the people. CLIENTS: Be aware of your surroundings, pay attention to your pet's behavior before and after your appointment, ask to be present and ASK QUESTIONS because ***the doctors are great***, but the technician staff deserve less than 1 star ratings and are obviously in need of a long vacation to bring them back to reality and remind them why they chose their career path. CORPORATE, MANAGEMENT & STAFF: This cooperation needs to get a grip on all their locations and staff them appropriately with team members that CARE about the pets and clients AND professionals that know and care about WHY they are in this field. **Provide your employees with the resources they need to maintain a facility as beautiful as this and provide them with proper training and coaching to be able to be the FACE, HEART & SOUL of Village Vets.** Your job is crucial and has so many parts. It is very important that you understand each and every detail of all responsibilities that support a hospital and if you are unable to fully understand those things, then you need to find another path. The facility and equipment here are TOO NICE and TOO EXPENSIVE to have people that #1) Don't know how to operate it. #2) Don't care and/or don't know how to properly maintain or clean it! To put it plain & simple: It is all or nothing in the veterinary field, so go hard, or go home. Treat it like it's your home, your pets and your family! ** Be self aware! ** Good luck to you all.

I love this vet. The receptionists and vet tech were so kind and created such a calm and clean environment. And Dr. DeLong is a truly excellent vet. She knows how much our dog means to us and we completely trust her 1000%. So happy to have her help with our accident prone very big puppy! He’s feeling much better now that the staples are out!

I brought my cat here for her first annual visit in August 2024 and have only had negative experiences since: 1. They gave her the wrong rabies vaccine—1 year instead of 3 years, while charging me for the 3 year. If an internal audit hadn't caught it, I would have never known. 2. They did not ensure that her blood and urine samples would be stored properly for processing after a long weekend (Labor Day), so I had to bring her back to get them redrawn. 3. When she tested positive for roundworm, she was given a dewormer. I was told to bring in another fecal sample in 3 weeks. I brought it exactly 3 weeks later. I got a text later that day saying, "it seems the sample is past the retest window." I had to call to confirm that their text was incorrect. They were going to charge me for the new test sample as well. ("If you could give us a call as soon as possible I will be happy to settle this bill for you.") 4. I never heard back from them about the results of the second roundworm test. After a month of waiting, I had to call yesterday and ask for them. After I get my cat the 3-year rabies vaccine (which I did receive a credit for), I will be switching vets. I am very disappointed with my experience here.

Kind, thoughtful and caring. They treated my "out of town" baby like one of their own (patients). We're in Atlanta for three months and too far away to return to our vet for a wellness check. Village Vets accepted her next day and prescribed Rx for her issues. I highly recommend.
