We had a feeling our 20 year old cat was not doing well so I called & got an appointment to see if our cat was in need of immediate attention. Unfortunately our cat was too far gone, so they kindly gave us options for her transitioning over the rainbow bridge. We chose for her to pass at home with Lap of Love. It was so hard but everyone at the Village Vets was kind and understanding. A bright light in a dark time.

Mar 05, 2025 · Audrey CollinsBest vet ever! We moved last summer and now the vet is a 45 minute drive thru Atlanta instead of the 5 minutes previously. Totally worth the drive. Our older dog passed, she was the emotional support pet for our rescue. VV is wonderful with our trauma ridden needy dog.
Mar 09, 2025 · VIOLA SCOTTWell run and uses my time wisely. Great vet! Felt secure in the care and enjoyed the good discussion about vaccines.
Mar 08, 2025 · Laurel R. Lemasters, MDWe have been going to the village vet for over two years at this point. The Virginia Highlands location has proven to be an absolutely lovely experience. Due to a lack of appointments we were sent to the Buckhead location. I don’t know if it was just the day, but the vet tech at this location was beyond rude, and seems you have little patience or kindness to share with animals. When she decided to pull our dog out of the room by its head rather than picking it up, I finally had to speak up. The vet was quick to say this is not how we handle animals. It was very clear that this vet tech is not fit for her position much less to handle other people’s animals. The vet was kind enough to come back into the room and apologize without the tech as she knew the behavior was unacceptable. It is sad to see one person taint such a lovely practice. I will continue to go to the Virginia Highlands location, but avoid the techs at Buckhead.
Nov 22, 2024 · Peter WillsIf you read no further than this, know that I would personally beg you to take your pets to Village Vets Buckhead. They are fantastic vets, wonderful humans and so incredibly helpful. My sweet dog Tilly has had an unfortunate series of medical issues and VVB's entire staff has been nothing short of amazing. They know exactly what is going on and must live in the patient portal for how quickly they have updated information. The front office staff have been so kind and patient with me as I call and bug them all the time, I just absolutely LOVE this place and couldn't imagine getting through all these issues without them. Please treat your furry loved ones to the best primary care they can get and you will NOT be disappointed.
