As always The Pet Hospitals provided a wonderful experience and took great care of my baby girl! Dr. Landis spent quality time with us and Flame had a great visit! Dr. McWatters checked in on us after the appointment with a thorough update and quick response time. I always know my fur babies are in the best hands here.

Edit: I called your office to request for the correct medication (44 mcg) before I picked up the medication, but I was told no and that the prescribed prescription was correct! I am not a vet and I listened to you guys because I assumed your vets have degrees and know what they're doing. I sincerely thought that this was the correct medication, I mean, there was nothing I could do - your office said no to changing it when I called. I genuinely hoped that this was just a new and modern format and that it will work for my cat! I even messaged and called again to ask for instructions on how to use this new medication! This was when your office finally realized your vet made a mistake. Fluticasone Propionate Diskus 50 mcg (powder form) (incorrect) sounds very similar to Fluticasone Propionate HFA 44 mcg (aerosol form) (correct). I know this is a tough situation for everyone, especially with medications involved, but your vet made a mistake and you're putting all the consequences on me and my cat! Stop blaming Walgreens, they filled what you called in AND they called to question your prescription as well. But YOU confirmed the wrong medication with them (not just me). Please pay attention to the medication you prescribe, including the dosage and countless formats. Correct your mistakes or at least acknowledge them. Please take SOME responsibility as a company. Original post: The vet Scott Dutton at The Pet Hospital prescribed the wrong medication for my pet. Even after I called to confirm, they assured me it was correct. Now I’m stuck with an expensive prescription I can’t use or refund, and they are not taking responsibility for the mistake. Detailed story: Dr. Scott Dutton prescribed my pet Fluticasone Propionate Diskus 50 mcg instead of the correct Fluticasone Propionate HFA 44 mcg. (Both are inhaler-like but in different formats). I called the office to ask why it wasn’t 44 mcg and if it could be changed. The staff checked with the vet and told me no, saying the prescription was correct and couldn’t be changed. Since I’m not a vet and and I am not a veterinary trained/licensed expert, I trusted them and bought the prescription, even though it was really expensive. After picking it up, I looked at it again and started to worry - maybe it's the correct one but I didn't know how to use the medication because it's a new cool thing? I called The Pet Hospital a second time, trying to explain my concerns again. This time, they admitted there was a mistake but blamed Walgreens, saying they must have misheard the vet’s instructions when he called it in. However, this doesn’t add up because I personally called The Pet Hospital to confirm the prescription, and they still said 50 mcg was right. Now I’m stuck with an expensive medication I can’t return. Walgreens won’t refund me because it wasn’t their error, and The Pet Hospital won’t admit that the vet made a mistake. This leaves me stuck paying the bill for Scott Dutton and The Pet Hospital's mistake. To make matters worse, this isn’t the only mistake. During our visit, Scott Dutton told me the rabies vaccine would cost $40, but I was charged $54 which is higher than what this vaccine normally costs anywhere else. While I could overlook this small error, it adds to a pattern of carelessness that leaves patients like me paying the price for his mistakes. Fortunately, the staff at The Pet Hospital are nice and they are patient with my concerns. So I hate to write a bad review. However, it is very clear that Scott Dutton made a mistake. It's even in his notes (I assume he wrote these) (see the attached screenshots). I really hope The Pet Hospital can do something to fix this issue! Please!

If I lived in Memphis there is no where else I’d take my pet! We were passing through when an emergency situation arose and we were seen within a half hour of calling. Everyone from the tech to the vet herself went above and beyond to collect her records efficiently, run the necessary tests and find solutions/recommendations. The vet we saw provided antibiotics and recommendations that even my primary vet who’s well-versed in my dogs condition had not implored. I’m amazed by the kindness and compassion here and trust you’ll be in great hands! Thank you for all that you’ve done for me and my pet!!
