Our sweet dog had two seizures early this morning, which has never happened (a Sunday). Of course his regular vet was closed so we brought him here. Dr. Newman and all of the staff in the building were absolutely fantastic. Everyone was very caring and informative. We left the clinic feeling much better and with an appropriate plan of care. I highly recommend this office.

Mar 10, 2025 · Emily RoseThanks for taking care of my barn cat, Opie! We found him limping and with a few scrapes. After a thorough exam they found several puncture wounds, cleaned them up and medicated him. It’s only been a few days and he is already on the mend.
Feb 08, 2025 · Anna McNinchPet Hospital is the best! They make you family! My fur baby had worms, they walked me through it was supper sensitive. They answered all my questions, if I e-mailed or called the responded without haste. The groomer is fire. I not telling the name because he/she is already too busy lol. All in all a beautiful experience!
Apr 10, 2025 · AndreTHEY LOST MY DOG'S ASHES. I've been going to Pet Hospitals for a few years. Between my ex and I, we had 6 pets under their care over the years. I continued to stay with them because the doctors have always been fine to work with and I have a special needs dog that they were familiar with. Of my 6 pets, my dog was my best friend and companion. His sudden death in January shocked me. He passed at home, and we took him immediately to Pet Hospitals Lakeland. It was, of course, a very hectic scene. My parents came with me to the clinic and paid for the cremation while I was saying my final goodbyes. My parents thought I wouldn't want a private cremation since I had opted for a communal cremation for my beloved cat in 2020. I learned after my cat's passing that communal wasn't the right choice for my grieving process and I've since regretted it for years. IT WAS VERY IMPORTANT THAT I GOT HIS ASHES. I told everyone that day that was back there what I wanted. I wanted all his feet stamped, his nose stamped and his ashes. My parents went back up front to re-do his paper work and paid for a private cremation. Unfortunately, he was still cremated communally and they didn't stamp his nose. As the clinic would describe it, an assistant marked his application for a communal cremation - not for a private service. One click of a button and my dog is mixed with other pets and tossed in a community garden. A garden that I'll never visit because it makes me physically ill thinking that he's there. They TOOK my grieving process from me. I will grieve for the rest of my life knowing he's not laid to rest where he should be. Humans will make mistakes but there should be some checks and balances to ensure this doesn't happen ever. I'm devastated and I don't even know where to begin picking up the pieces. This was avoidable and it sounds like it happens more often than you'd think. I hope that the assistant that inputs future requests to the cremation system has a bit more attention to detail for the sake of anyone who chooses to allow Pet Hospitals to handle their pet's remains. I’m unable to find it in me to forgive them at this time. I will forever grieve this loss due to their clumsy massive mistake. Pet Hospitals refunded the cost of the cremation but I will never be whole, so for me this brought me no peace of mind. I'd suggest making sure you demand to review any documents sent to crematoriums when allowing any vet to process your pet's remains. Bee deserved better and so does anyone else's beloved pet.
Mar 04, 2025 · Holly SmithI started my fur child at doggie daycare, which she seemed to love. She loves all that works there. That puts my nerves at ease. I then put her in for boarding & added daycare also. When I call to check on her (which they encourage) they have nothing but, good things to say about her. I'm very pleased🥰🥰
