I moved out of the area and still drive quite a distance to come here. Dr. Sue cares about her work and pets. The staff answers issues promptly, and they use a text service if you’d rather communicate that way. My appointments are always on time. This office is run by women and is women-owned, another bonus.

I’ve been here with two foster dogs and it’s always a positive experience. Everyone there is kind and compassionate along with knowledgeable. I’m grateful for all they do! I highly recommend The Neighborhood Veterinarian.

Overall my experience at TNV has been okay. Communication has been prompt. The staff has been kind and courteous. It is relatively clean. My biggest negative is price. They charge way more for a similar service and experience. Specifically $1000 more for a service that costs $400 at a comparable (arguable better) place such as Brookville Rd Animal Hospital. Not sure if they’re trying to rip me off or they just have high business expenses for some reason. I also didn’t like that every time they treated my pet they would take them out of the room. Granted my pets get excited and perhaps they were doing that to try and calm them down. Ultimately they did this without asking and definitely was a component that eroded my trust. TLDR; If you’re fine with paying inflated prices for average service go here. Otherwise I suggest checking out Brookville Rd Animal Hospital Edit: I find the response to be misleading - to avoid confusion of others seeking information I will clarify. The price I was given was for extraction of the 208 premolar - it was printed out with line items and was listed at just around $1,400. The printed quote was not offered for me to keep. With regard to my pet being taken out of the room I was referring to all of my visits - I understand the desire to make the pet more comfortable. I would suggest being clearer with giving the pet owner the option one way or the other - personally I didn't feel I had the option.

Dr. Sue and the staff are amazing. They took wonderful care of my fur baby for years. In the event of my sudden loss, they were there for me with kindness I did not expect. Please know if you take your fur baby to Dr. Sue, you are absolutely in good hands. Highly recommend.
