My dog has kidney disease and she’s been seen by a previous veterinarian but Dr Keo recommended other supplements to her diet and my dog is doing great. Also, they understand that my dog doesn’t get alone with others so they put me in a room right away ❤️

Welcome to The Edge Pet Hospital

Welcome to the online introduction of The Edge Pet Hospital, located at 2340 Via Inspirada ste 110, Henderson, NV 89044, USA. Operating under the platform category of "Pet Hospital," The Edge Pet Hospital aims to provide veterinary services to the local community. As a pet hospital, they are expected to offer a range of medical and wellness services for animal companions. However, the publicly available information primarily consists of customer reviews, which present a mixed perspective on the services and care provided.

As a "Pet Hospital," The Edge Pet Hospital's intended scope of services likely includes routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, diagnostic procedures, medical treatments, and potentially surgical services. These are standard offerings one would expect from a facility in this category, aiming to address the various health needs of pets in the Henderson area. However, specific details about the environment and the full spectrum of services are not explicitly provided online, making it necessary to rely on the experiences shared by pet owners to gain insight.

One positive aspect highlighted in a customer review is the hospital's accommodating nature and the perceived care provided. This reviewer specifically mentioned that Dr. Keo recommended supplements that improved their dog's condition related to kidney disease, suggesting a willingness to explore different treatment options. Furthermore, the clinic demonstrated an understanding of a dog's anxiety around other animals by immediately placing the dog in a private room. This suggests a sensitivity to individual pet needs and a proactive approach to ensuring a comfortable experience for potentially anxious animals.

However, another review presents a starkly contrasting experience, alleging negligence in the care provided to a dog with a critically low platelet count. This customer reported that despite a platelet level of 30,000, Dr. Keo suggested rechecking in a couple of days due to potential equipment malfunction, rather than immediately recognizing and addressing the severity of the situation. The reviewer stated that they subsequently had to rush their dog to an emergency facility for blood transfusions, but tragically, it was too late. This review expresses a serious concern regarding the standard of care and the potential consequences of delayed or misjudged medical advice.

Given the limited information beyond these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, specific services, and overall features of The Edge Pet Hospital. The positive review suggests a caring and accommodating practice with a veterinarian willing to explore treatment options and considerate of individual pet temperaments. On the other hand, the negative review raises serious concerns about the clinic's diagnostic acumen and the potential for critical medical situations to be mishandled.

It is important for local users to consider both of these perspectives when evaluating The Edge Pet Hospital. The positive experience indicates a potential for attentive and personalized care, while the negative experience serves as a significant caution regarding the assessment and management of critical health conditions.

Without further information, it is difficult to ascertain the typical environment of the clinic. A pet hospital should ideally provide a clean, safe, and comfortable setting for animals receiving care. Examination rooms should be well-equipped for consultations and minor procedures, and if surgical services are offered, a sterile surgical suite would be necessary. Waiting areas should be designed to minimize stress for pets, potentially with separate areas for cats and dogs or private waiting rooms, as mentioned in one of the reviews.

The range of services typically offered by a pet hospital includes preventative care (vaccinations, parasite control, wellness exams), diagnostics (laboratory testing, imaging), medical treatments (managing illnesses, administering medications), and potentially surgical procedures (routine and specialized). It is unclear from the available information the full scope of services provided by The Edge Pet Hospital.

Features that might be considered positive could include the willingness to accommodate pets with specific needs, such as anxiety around other animals, as indicated in one review. The recommendation of alternative treatments, as mentioned in the context of kidney disease management, could also be seen as a proactive approach to pet care. However, these potential positives are overshadowed by the serious allegations of negligence in the other review.

Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided text. Therefore, it is not possible to comment on any special offers, discounts, or unique programs that The Edge Pet Hospital might offer to attract local users.

In conclusion, the available information on The Edge Pet Hospital presents a mixed picture. While one customer reported positive experiences with Dr. Keo's recommendations and the clinic's accommodating nature, another customer shared a deeply concerning experience alleging negligent care with fatal consequences. Local users are advised to consider these contrasting viewpoints and potentially seek further information or testimonials before making a decision regarding their pet's care at this facility. Due to the severity of the negative feedback concerning the handling of a critical medical situation, it is imperative for pet owners to exercise caution and thoroughly research their options for veterinary care.

For those who wish to contact The Edge Pet Hospital, the phone number is (702) 906-4444 or +1 702-906-4444, and the address is 2340 Via Inspirada ste 110, Henderson, NV 89044, USA. However, given the serious concerns raised in one of the reviews, potential clients may want to proceed with caution and consider seeking additional opinions or exploring other veterinary options in the Henderson area.

Negligent. My dog’s platelets were 30,000. Dr. Keo said we should recheck in a couple of days because the equipment could be faulty. We ended up having to rush my doggy to the emergency for blood transfusions when she collapsed. He should’ve alerted us 30,000 platelets was extremely dangerous. We should not have trusted him. He is inexperienced and careless. In the end, it was too late for her.

Thanks to the wonderful team of The Edge Pet Hospital and Dr Keo for taking care of our Fur baby Ginger. Ginger got her spayed surgery successfully and the care she received was very heartwarming. Dr Keo and Dr Gill are very knowledgeable and caregiving. The staff called few times to inquire about our pet after surgery and to make sure if Ginger needs any medical attention after her surgery. Top Notch Service and Care. Thanks to Dr Keo and the entire team of The Edge Pet Hospital. Highly recommended to all.

I just moved here and I was so happy that I found a vet so close to where I live. I took my senior dog Tina in and I was greeted by Amy she was so sweet and welcoming and a great multitasker! My baby was seen by Dr Gill who was very caring and took his time explaining everything he even followed up on our girl after hours to make sure she was doing okay. Dr Gill and his staff are awesome this is our go to vet moving forward. I usually don’t write reviews but I think this visit was worth writing one for.

Very Happy! I know my way around a clinic very well after managing an Animal Hospital for almost 10 yrs. I was pleasantly surprised how compassionate they were for an end of the day emergency to also include being a new client. This clinic functions like my own beliefs how I ran a clinic. I was also pleasantly surprised by the amazing prices with zero price gouging and the extreme compassion the Vet had. I own a rescue and this place will recieve all my needs for my rescue/pets. If your from out of town well worth the drive. Takes alot to impress me and this place DID. Our George thanks the Dr & Staff
