The Cross Clinic Introduce
Welcome to the introduction of The Cross Clinic, a pet hospital located in Terre Haute, Indiana, serving the local community at 2741 Sidenbender Rd, Terre Haute, IN 47802, USA. As a pet hospital, The Cross Clinic aims to provide veterinary care services for your animal companions. You can reach them at (812) 232-1470 or +1 812-232-1470 for inquiries or to learn more about their offerings.
Based on recent customer feedback, experiences at The Cross Clinic appear to be varied. One customer shared a deeply emotional experience of having to euthanize their dog at the clinic. They expressed immense gratitude for the kindness and understanding shown by a staff member named Susan during this difficult time. This positive review highlights the compassionate aspect of care that The Cross Clinic aims to provide, particularly in sensitive situations. The reviewer also mentioned the presence of a new veterinarian at the clinic and indicated that The Cross Clinic would become their primary veterinary care provider moving forward, emphasizing the positive impact of their experience.
However, another customer reported significant negative experiences with The Cross Clinic. Their review detailed multiple instances of scheduled appointments not being honored, with the clinic doors locked and no communication or explanation provided. This individual described wasted time and a lack of responsiveness to phone calls, including those made for emergency appointments. The reviewer recounted a particularly distressing situation where their cat, who was severely ill, passed away after they were unable to access the clinic on the day of a scheduled appointment. The customer further alleged that their attempts to address the issue with the clinic resulted in being hung up on, leading them to strongly recommend against using The Cross Clinic for pet care needs, citing a perceived lack of care and respect for both animals and their owners.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of The Cross Clinic without further information. The positive feedback suggests a caring and supportive environment, particularly during end-of-life care, and highlights the potential for positive interactions with staff members like Susan and the new veterinarian. This indicates a commitment to empathy and understanding in dealing with pet owners during difficult times.
On the other hand, the negative review raises serious concerns about the reliability and professionalism of the clinic's operations, specifically regarding appointment adherence and communication. The allegations of unattended appointments and a lack of response to urgent situations are significant and could indicate potential issues with clinic management or staffing on certain days.
Without a detailed list of services provided by The Cross Clinic, we can only infer based on the nature of a pet hospital. Typically, such facilities offer a range of veterinary services, which may include routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. The mention of a new veterinarian suggests that the clinic is likely continuing to offer general veterinary care. However, the specific scope of these services, the availability of specialized treatments, or the types of animals they cater to are not mentioned in the provided reviews.
Similarly, information regarding specific features of The Cross Clinic, such as the availability of advanced medical equipment, in-house laboratory services, or specialized consultation rooms, is not available. The environment of the clinic, in terms of its cleanliness, comfort, and facilities, is also not described in the provided feedback.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for The Cross Clinic in the provided text. Pet hospitals may sometimes offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal promotions for specific services like vaccinations or dental care, or wellness plans that bundle preventative care services at a reduced cost. To learn about any such offers at The Cross Clinic, it would be best to contact them directly.
In conclusion, The Cross Clinic in Terre Haute appears to be a pet hospital with the potential for compassionate care, as highlighted in one customer's experience. However, it is essential for prospective clients to be aware of the serious concerns raised by another customer regarding the reliability of their services and communication. We recommend contacting The Cross Clinic directly at (812) 232-1470 to inquire about their services, hours of operation, and to address any concerns you may have based on the varied feedback. Visiting the clinic in person, if possible, might also provide a better understanding of their environment and operations. As with any service provider, it is advisable to gather comprehensive information before making a decision about your pet's care.
It is important for The Cross Clinic to address the issues raised in the negative feedback to ensure consistent and reliable service for all pet owners in the Terre Haute community. Transparency and open communication are crucial in building trust between a pet hospital and its clients, especially when dealing with the health and well-being of beloved animals.

Mar 25, 2025 路 Sue RhudyThis vet is absolutely horrible !! I set up appointments for my animals and then on the day of the scheduled appointment the doors are locked and there's no one there to answer the phone or explain why they've left me hanging with my animals that had scheduled appointments for that day. I've waisted time not once but several times with them. You call an receive no calls back. We call for emergency appointments and they want to schedule weeks out but yet they can't even guarantee that they will be there to open the doors for your emergency appointments. Our cat was extremely sick and he ended up passing away due to the fact that on the day of his appointment they didn't open their doors and by that time it was to late to take our cat anywhere else. When we called to express how disrespectful it was of them to schedule an appointment and not have the decency to call us to cancel ahead of time they hung up on me. I do not recommend this vet for your animals needs. They do not care about you or your animals!
Feb 04, 2025 路 Chris FrostI took my dog back here to have surgery and they kept him all day claiming they never touched him I will never return here ever because they claimed he wouldn't let them touch him or even muzzle him but they could have let me come in there and I could have helped them and instead they kept him all day instead of calling and telling me that they never touch him or was able to do anything the one lady that works in there I can't remember her name she was so rude to me and she hung up on me I'm never going to take my dog back here again and they got a new vet and instead of the vet trying to interact with my dog to get him to not be afraid of him he just walked away from me act like he was afraid of my dog and he's a little dog they don't have any care I don't care what anybody says their staff is awful so I don't know how everybody rates them so good show prices are a little bit cheaper than most places but they just they're awful I don't care who gets mad and cries I'll give you my phone number if you want to contact me that doesn't matter my reviews went down I did have them at four stars and went down to one 馃槇馃槇馃槇
Mar 24, 2025 路 Stacy HinkleThis is my new vet for my new kitten. They gave her a good check up and a clean bill of health. I will definitely return to this clinic when she is old enough to get spayed.
Nov 12, 2024 路 Tracy SladekStaff is incredibly friendly and can answer questions that you may be curious about. They are open a little bit later than most "Doctor offices" which is helpful when you work a M-F 9-5 job. I have a 1 y.o. cat and 3 1/2 m.o. kitten... I wouldn't trust them to anyone else! Highly recommend! 馃憤馃徎馃憤馃徎
